Overview
This monastery-style guesthouse is just 200 metres from Kalampaka centre just behind the small picturesque train station. It offers rustic rooms with free Wi-Fi and panoramic views of Meteora. Monastiri Guesthouse offers a variety of tastefully decorated rooms, most with wooden floors, ceilings, hand-painted frescoes and stone walls. Each room has its own style, colour combination, while most have a view of the Meteora rocks.They come with air-conditioning, a TV, mini fridge and en-suite bathroom. Many include a fireplace. Traditional Greek breakfast with homemade cookies, cakes and marmalades is served each morning at Monastiri’s breakfast area. On Monastiri’s ground floor, guests will find a lounge bar with fireplace and an internet corner with free wired and wireless access. Other facilities include a large garden with panoramic Meteora views, as well as free parking.

Lovely quiet hotel with an easy 10 minute walk to the local town for meals and shopping .Staff were super friendly and helpful. Good breakfast ,comfortable room and great location to explore the monasteries by car. Convenient free parking in a quiet street alongside the hotel. Nice pool with comfortable loungers and pool towels available if needed (for €2 each).

“Great place to stay to visit Meteora”
The location is fabulous and the hotel has stunning views. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was first class - a fabulous selection was provided and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Lovely pool. We had a spectacular view of the Meteora from our room balcony. The staff was very warm. They also recommended a fabulous guide for a day of monestary visits. Highly recommend!

Great location - close to the street with cafes for food and also lots of space for parking. About 10 minutes by car to all attractions. From the room and also at the breakfast we enjoyed the view on Meteoras. Very friendly and helpful staff, we had quite early check out, before the breakfast time, and were offered snack to go 😊

“A great guesthouse, ideal for exploring Meteora and the surrounding area, with a homely atmosphere.”
Excellent location in Kalabaka, within very easy distance from the centre on foot (about 10 mins) and with plentiful street parking. The entire guesthouse, built and decorated in traditional style, was spotlessly clean. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, on the first floor with a balcony overlooking the pool. All of the staff were extremely polite, helpful, friendly and very informative about the local area; we were able to explore the Meteora area with ease. The breakfast was plentiful, with many homemade delicacies - my mother loved the traditional orange cake!!

Spacious and very clean room with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The hotel has excellent views of Meteora and it’s located in a quiet area of Kalambaka yet close to everything the town has to offer. Many choices for breakfast including freshly homemade Greek pies and cakes!
