Overview
Situated in the midst of the towering Meteora rocks, Meteora Hotel is located just outside the city limits of Kalambaka. Guests enjoy views of the famous rocks of Meteora and the town of Kalambaka from their private balconies. Standard in-room features include free internet access, central heating and air conditioning, a TV and a private bathroom. A freshly prepared Greek breakfast with local products is served each morning, featuring fresh eggs and yogurt. Snacks , hot and cold beverages and alcoholic drinks can be enjoyed at the hotel bar with fireplace. Guests can admire wonderful views of Meteora and Kalambaka from the lobby. Kalambaka train station is just 800 metres away. Reception staff are readily available and can arrange horseback riding and canoe kayak tours, or offer area information. Free public parking is available outside the hotel. Kalambaka’s main square is 300 metres away, while there are hiking paths to Meteora only 50 metres from the hotel’s doorstep.

We had a great stay here, even though we only spent one night. The accommodation is perfectly located right at the foot of Meteora, making it an excellent starting point for exploring the area. The breakfast was incredibly generous and varied, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The host was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. They even helped us when our car got a flat tire, which we are especially grateful for. A truly welcoming place – we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Meteora!

“Quiet and warm as home”
Breakfast provides lots of variety that suits different taste of my family. The parking place is sufficient. The view is stunning. The staffs are really helpful. The heater is really warm.

“A happy stay and fond memories.”
Practical location with car parking and close to restaurants. The room had all the expected amenities and a small veranda facing the Meteora rocks. Very good breakfast. Not forgetting the friendly and helpful staff.

The room was too small, barly walk around the bed. No window, and the balkony door was at streat level, so you could not have fresh air during sleep. The bed was too hard.

Great location in the city. The owners are friendly but less talkative. The room is very large. The breakfast is spectacular.
