Overview
This elegant and recently renovated guesthouse is located in the old town of Kalambaka, in the shadow of the imposing rocks of Meteora and 500 metres from the city centre. The Elena Guesthouse is built in the local, traditional style. The warm colours, natural materials and stylish furnishings all create an atmosphere of comfort and luxury. Featuring a balcony, the stylish rooms and suites have a luxurious bathroom with steam bath cabin or a spa bath. Each is open plan and they all offer views over the Meteora Rocks. Guests can enjoy a daily breakfast upon request. Visit the monasteries of Meteora by following the scenic stone path that starts just 100 metres from the guesthouse. Visit the unique 11th-century Byzantium temple and the Assumption of the Virgin.

“The place was okay.”
I stayed for one night, and everything was fine; the room was clean, and the stay was comfortable enough. However, there was nothing particularly memorable or impressive about the place. It’s a decent option if you just need somewhere to stay, but don’t expect anything beyond the basics.

“Lovely house”
The room is clean and cosy with a shared living space which is well-decorated with wooden furnature. It is close to the town center, about 6-7 minutes walk. I would prefer to stay here again for the next visit.

“Perfect!”
Great view, wonderful room. Spacious, huge bathroom and a comfortable bed. The balcony was also great. We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We highly recommend.

Wonderful place, run by a family. Unique interior, fabulous view from the balcony. We had a suite and enjoyed its comfort. Highly recommendable.

“Great host and lovely place to stay !”
The location was great with a magnificient view. The house was a traditional old house but with modern touch. The lady was so polait and very friendly and she let us in with our dog! Super clean bed sheets and towels! It had a fridge and nice shower..Great terrace. Very quite place.

Amazing location with a view of the rocks. Quirky and attractive property. Massive bedroom with a jacuzzi bath. Bustling town with loads of cafes, restaurants and shops. Parking wasn't easy but not too difficult in the town.

It was a confusion with the type of room that was booked. Suggesting to call the receptionist in advance to confirm your booking, despite the confirmation email. But after discussion a good alternative was found.
