Overview
Only a 1-minute walk from JR Kagoshima-Chuo Station, Kagoshima Little Asia offers dorm beds and private rooms, free Wi-Fi throughout and rental bicycles. It offers free-use facilities for guests, including laundry, internet PCs and kitchen appliances. Little Asia Kagoshima is a 4-minute walk from the Nishida Onsen Hot Spring, while Kagoshima Aquarium and Sakurajima Ferry Terminal are both a 10-minute drive. Guests at Little Asia can relax at the lounge, or prepare a meal in the kitchen, which is equipped with a stove, a microwave and a refrigerator. A washing machine and a dryer can also be used free of charge. Shared dormitory rooms and private rooms are both air-conditioned, and they a flat-screen TV, offer bunk beds and heating. Toilets and showers are shared. No meals are served.

This is not only about the place itself, but also the people you share the space and time with. People tend to be respectful while staying at the place. I like when we can engage with strangers who we share the accomodation with.

“A very accessible, convenient hostel for anyone passing through Kagoshima”
A hostel located right next to the Kagoshima main train station, making it a great option for people passing through for one or two nights. There is a convenience store just around the corner, as well as plenty of amenities at the station. The bedrooms are split by gender with fairly comfortable beds, the showers are decent, and the living space/kitchen is also quite cosy.

“Cheap n simple”
You got exactly what you paid for, no frills, the place (female dorm, kitchen and living space) whilst basic were pretty clean and tidy, good shower and bathroom too. Good location.

“Cheap but run down”
The place is really run down and the room has poor change of air (female dorm) the window is covered by a bed, no natural light of air can get in. For the price you can’t be too pecky but it world really need some decluttering.
