“A joy to stay at JR Kyushu Kargoshima.”
It was a joy to stay in this hotel. We booked a superior room and loved it. Entrance conveniently located right in the train station. Breakfast was adequate as we preferred Western style.

“Excellent stay, great staff - commendation praise to Shunnosuke Waki”
Hotel staff were extremely kind and polite. I would like to give commendation and praise to this gentleman staff member named Shunnosuke Waki. After learning that I was unable to see the Kagoshima volcano. He recommended a personal spot from his childhood. This little kindness really brightened my day and trip. He went beyond his professionalism to help someone out, and I felt this goes a long way. P.S. Management, if you are reading this, Shunnosuke Waki san deserves praise or even a small token raise

“VERY convenient for the railway station, shops and a major shopping mall, all adjoining”
The hotel does not provide breakfast- just coupons to two nearby restaurants. Both provide mainly Japanese food, one as a buffet and one as a set meal

“Great location”
The location was great within the station with easy access to konbini, restaurants and cafes. Staff was friendly. Our room and bathroom was the smallest we've had during this trip. We should have paid more attention when booking.

“This Hotel was a real gem. Perfectly located for access to the station which is a real bonus. Helpful staff and great”
This Hotel was fantastic. It was next door to the JR station which had access to cafes, restaurants and 7/11 etc. The room was simple but very clean and super comfortable.

“A very nice, modern and centrally hotel with a train station adjoining to it.”
I had a rented car and while hotel does not any parking facilities, they have arrangement with the mall next to it which made parking plus lugging 2 luggages to my room - very convenient. Lots of F&B and shopping outlets to explore too. It was indeed a one-stop stay over for me & wife. And the breakfast had both western & japanese spread!
