Overview
A 5-minute walk from JR Kagoshima-Chuo Train Station, Hotel Taisei Annex offers massages, a Japanese-style pub and a restaurant serving local dishes. The simply furnished rooms include free wired internet access. Each air-conditioned room at the Taisei Annex comes with an LCD TV, a mini-fridge, green tea, slippers and toothbrushes. The en suite bathroom has a bathtub with shower attachment. A relaxation area is available to men and require additional fees. Female guests can enjoy reflexology treatments and free amenities such as face packs and aroma tea, while men can use the 24-hour sauna, the public bath and the shared room with recliners and TVs. Massages are open to all guests. Ishin Furusato-kan Museum, specialising in the Meiji Restoration, is a 5-minute walk. Sakurajima volcano is a 45-minute ferry ride away. Laptops can be rented at the reception, and the lobby has a free-use internet PC. A coin launderette is on site. A breakfast buffet is available for an extra fee. Lunch and dinner can be eaten at Satsuma Kuroshiotei, and drinks and pub fare are on offer at Izakaya Aijichiba in the evenings.

Very near to the tram station and got free onsen. Room is spacious and comfortable. Night time got free udon.

“Good accessibility, friendly staff, satisfactory price”
It is close to Kagoshima Chuo Station. There is a tram stop right in front of the hotel, and the location was excellent as it takes about 15 minutes to walk to Tenmonkan. Although the facilities are a bit dated, they are tidy and clean, and the staff were very friendly. I was grateful that they provided free udon after 9 PM. Although I cannot speak Japanese, I can communicate with the front desk staff in English.

Best location. Close to the station, budget eats, can walk to the wonderful Meiji Restoration Museum and the ferry port, the Observatory. There is complementarily coffee, a lounge, bike hire, good vending machines , microwave ovens available, help yourself to an extra pillow! Smiling staff.

“Great central Kagoshima stay”
Right around the corner from Kagoshima station, this was a really great stay. Great value for money, and a really comfortable room. The front desk staff were really nice. I would love to stay here again.

Reasonably priced, not far from shinkansen station. Although the room is rather old and furniture needs refurbished, it has almost everything you need. There is a tram line right in front of the hotel. The bed (twin room) is huge, more than we expected.

Super old hotel, mattress was very old, i can feel the spring, Hotel only provide men onsens and sauna not women. I don't enjoy such hotel like this. Will not recommended.
