Located just a minute's walk from Tenmonkandori Tram Station, Hotel Mystays Kagoshima Tenmonkan Annex features affordable rooms with free WiFi throughout the hotel. Nightwear is provided, while memory foam pillows are available for guests to comfortably sleep through the night. The en suite bathroom is set with a hairdryer, toothbrushes and free toiletries. Great location for Kagoshima, by shops, restaurants and public transport. The room was compact, but comfy, plus there was a lift up to it on the 8th floor! Nice and quiet at night. The staff were friendly and helpful, even ringing ahead to our next campsite options to check on them and reserve for us! There was nowhere at the hotel to keep our bicycles, but a covered parking area just down the road was 100 yen per 24 hours, which worked well.

“Great location, rooms are a bit old and need a facelift.”
The hotel is well situated, especially if you enjoy nightlife. It is in the middle of the Tenmonkan area which is the lively night scene of Kagoshima. There is also a bus stop for the airport shuttle nearby.

“A budget hotel and good for short stay.”
Hotel is just walking distance to the main shopping street Tenmonkan and mono rail- Tenmonkan dori, so it is convenient with my food choices. Receptionist is really friendly and food recommendations were superb. I was able to leave my luggages before check in and after check out before my next destination. Shower pressure was great.

not clean and room extremely small and more expensive than what I paid in other hotels on Kyushu of much higher quality. Noisy guests with children speaking loudly in the hallways in the morning.
