We loved the drinks corner in the lobby, the pillow station, Sakurajima viewing area, and the central location. The staff were very helpful and the pre-check-in was useful and saved time.

“Nice hotel with my favourite bath”

Room was great, loved the luxury of the outdoor bath (and free bath salts provided). They had hair dryer and hair straighteners in the room. The staff were helpful and helped me with booking a ferry to Yakushima (to book a ferry you need to write your details in Japanese characters!). They also stored my suitcase for 2 days for free. I saw reviews describing this as a love hotel but I stayed as a single female and didn't feel uncomfortable or like I was in a love hotel - so don't let this put you off.

“Trip to Kagoshima”

The location of the hotel was perfect! Not far from the central station, the city centre and the main attractions of Kagoshima. The structure was modern and very clean, our room was quite big and the view from the terrace was amazing. The staff was lovely, very friendly and always ready to help. I will definitely choose it again in the future. Thanks :)

“Great value, great location”

We stayed in one of the rooms with a bath on the balcony which was great (very low price for a room of this sort) it doesn’t have a view, but it is fab after a day of walking to have a soak nonetheless. Hotel had everything you could need, comfy bed, very close to entertainment area and a less than 10 minute walk to the port or even closer to the shopping area. Lovely helpful staff who gave us great recommendations and how tos for bookings etc Highly recommend for a great value place to stay. We were always leaving to early, so we were gutted to miss the all you can eat bread and jam breakfast that’s available! They always had various ice teas and hot drinks available in the lobby for free too!

Hotel was simple but super clean. Every floor with water dispenser, two automatico laundry rooms and very kind receptionists. Last but not least: super affidabile price

Friendly reception, good refreshments (coffee, tea, water) at the lobby, water dispenser on each floor. Bed was comfortable and you can help yourself to extra pillows of different types. There’s smart TV with Netflix and YouTube. We did use the outdoor bath and it was quite a unique feature for a business hotel. Great location as well, walking distance to good Izakayas and both the main shopping area & the ferry/seaside area.

I loved the private bathtube on the balcony. Amenities included hair curler among other things. The location is perfect if you're gonna use one of the nearby ports.

Very smart, charming and well equipped hotel... but also laid back. I was expecting a "typical business hotel" and found a very comfortable place to be. Many nice touches (coffee machine in lobby, laundry in a light airy place rather than dank windowless room, multiple chargers in room, etc.)

“Functional hotel within walking distance to Tenmonkan”

The semi outdoor bathtub was a memorable quirk that made the room seem bigger than it was.

Your own private bath on the balcony is such a nice luxury that I'm going to miss it now on every other stay. Rooms are perfect size for one person, I would not recommend staying in a "double" room with two as it would feel very cramped. Everything was great at this hotel, cleanliness and service was top notch. The hotel uses a sign system where you put on your door what kind of daily service you want. No service, full service or just refill of amneties. I almost never need full cleaning so I really appreciated this system. Location wise the hotell is excellent also in the middle of Tenmonkan easily reachable by the city's tramline. I seldom return to hotels as I like to experience different ones but I think I'll make an exeption for this one as it was so good.

Among this area I found basically every hotel is so similar to the others. Here I like the special bath tube which is located outside in a terrace, I like this setting. Overall, everything is perfect for me. Also, the check out time is 11am when many others is 10am.
