I have left a google review of my experience here. I ended up leaving after a few hours to find another hostel so I didn't even stay a single night. The male receptionist with medium long hair was very aggressive and rude toward me multiple times. I felt unwelcome and unsafe from the moment I stepped into my room and was ignored by the women clearly living in there, to the passive aggressive sign placed out the front of my bed after I took my umbrella inside the dorm. I was not given any explanation about the rules, the facilities, or anything about the area, I was just handed sheets and told which floor I was on. Not a nice place for a solo female traveller that’s for sure.

Close everything tho a big road beside though it didnt bother sleeping at all. Nice rooftop at night and overall clean place.

Great location by the port and only a few stops on the tram from the center of the city! The shared kitchen and ability to do laundry were very convenient, and I appreciated having a balcony to hang wet clothes and towels on. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff is friendly and the welcome is lovely. Fortunately, the activities and landscapes around Kagoshima city are beautiful, which makes my stay very pleasant despite the difficulty sleeping.

the cook at the bar/reception made amazing thai curries and was very happy to chat with. the guest kitchen was very well equipped and nice to hang out, for cooking myself. the roof terasse was lovely, sunny in the morning, and other guests to hang out with. u can see the volcano nearby, but a big building in thw other side half covers the view. the lounge and kitchen hangout and laundry was very convenient. i also liked the green theme and it was very stylish and very well maintained and clean.

They only care about the money and not the customers. I've been in Japan quite a lot and never experienced this kind of mentality before

+Private room was very comfortable with the sitting area on a balcony. +Bathrooms were shared but never had to wait to use a toilet or take a shower. +wifi was pretty good to work from the guesthouse +filtered water refill, all kitchen facilities are available 24/7

Very close to ferry port and close to main part of town. Love the top deck with great views over the bay. It was suitable for 1 night. We even had a balcony

“It is ok for a night”

A clean hostel. The air conditioning system is of a good standard for the capsules and the common areas. There is the opportunity for an evening Thai meal. There is a one-hour wash/dry (same machine) coin-operated laundry within 500m of the hostel. The check-in and check-out procedures are effective and the staff are accommodating.
