The onsen was amazing. The staff were extremely helpful. And the location was excellent.

the room was big for japanise standars. but the onsen was amazing. after a busy day I was really able to relax properly. the free late night ramen is an extra gem and really comes right late at night if you get hungry. would recommend

The children were very excited about having free ice pop and free noddle (available between 21:30 to 23:00) after enjoying the hot spring.

The location of the hotel is only 350-m walk from airport shuttle bus stop, which make international travelers very convenient. Also the tram stop is just cross the street, make transition to Kagoshima-main station easy. We are able to store some of our luggage when we went to Ibusuki for several days and then return to Dormy Inn for another night. In all, the staffs were very friendly.

As always when staying at a Dormy Inn, the onsen bath is a major plus. In addition to featuring natural hot spring water, this one also is on the top floor and boasts view over the city — the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. Also, the location in Tenmonkan is excellent for the nightlife, with frequent streetcar services to the Kagoshima Chuho area. I also appreciated the 11 AM checkout.

Great breakfast. Great free stuff like late-night ramen. The best sauna and bath-house ever. Great location. Nothing to ask for in terms of service, efficiency or cleanliness. All the basics done to perfection. Bravo.

Food, service and amenities (especially the spa and sauna) were all superb.

The onsen was very, very great. For the new year they had some japanese citrus in the external bath for good luck which was a great touch.

Exceptionally great hotel. I really loved my stay here. People were friendly, room was cozy and quiet. Breakfast was fantastic. Also really good was the free, freshly cooked soy-based ramen in the evening between 21.30 and 23.00. If you're hungry late in the evening, this was a fantastic treat. Onsen for male and female in the hotel - and what a nice one! 3 springs, one hot inside, one outside on the rooftop, one cold and a sauna (I speak for the male one). Free ice cream afterwards, or a milk drink in the morning hours. Wifi was pretty fast and reliable. Location was great to explore Kagoshima.
