“Great stay in the heart of Kagoshima.”

The hotel is located in the very heart of Kagoshima, close to Tenmonkandori and a few minutes walk from the tramway stop to both railway stations. The check-in was fast and easy, my room was located on the sixth floor of the second building, right in front of the main one. The room was spacious, very furnished and silent. Also the bathroom was very clean. As most APA hotels, the didn’t perform room cleaning every day, they just provided fresh towels with a shopping bag hung to the door, which is something I really appreciated, also for privacy reasons. Eventually the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options from both western and japanese cuisines. I would definitely recommend it, especially for the great value for money.

“Comfortable stay at a great value with wonderful staff”

I loved my stay here. The bed was comfortable there were two types of pillows provided, one of them was a seed pillow which is so comfortable to use. The amenities provided were comprehensive and of astonishingly good quality for single use products. Even the hotel provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash were of better quality than what I’ve received at much more “refined” establishments. The room was small and efficient, good lighting, a really fast air conditioning system (perfect for Kagoshima summers). The staff were super helpful and welcoming. Without realising it I’d purchased the meal included option which was a happy accident because the Japanese style breakfast was so filling it saved me having to buy lunch! As a solo budget traveler, I couldn’t have asked for a better more comfortable stay Truly an exceptional value for money and overall perfect for my needs.

Very comfortable stay, good value for money, friendly staff. They provided extra pillows and info about parking location. The location is very central, so all the main attractions are around. Overall very good and pleasant stay.

“Hotel located in excellent location”

This hotel is two buildings, across the street from each other. Check-in, amenities, and rooms etc., are in the north building, whereas breakfast and additional rooms are in the south building. The split facilities meant going outside for breakfast, for example, a little inconvenient, but doable. Breakfast options were excellent. Room was clean and modern, although somewhat small by N. American/European standard. Hotel is located in Tenmonkan area, close to transportation, business, restaurants and historical areas.
