Beautiful hostel and lovely location on Qaroun Lake, although a little far from Tunis village. The staff were so kind and helpful, going above and beyond throughout our stay and offering trips and experiences. The chalet was nice and had a lovely view.

“Great place. Other comments are from those who don't know how to travel, just don't listen to them.”
I was hesitating regarding the previous guest comments but staying at Kamariat exceeded my expectations. I don't understand how anyone could bad-rank this charming and authentic place. For your information it was the first one build on the coast in the 80s, all the other commercials resorts (and cheap IHMO) are copy of this one. I'm sad for those who bad-rank this place, it means a lot about their way of living... Yes, it is not a 5 stars palace like in Dubai or Abu Dhabi (and thanks god it is not !!!). For those who likes this kind of standards, please go there and stay away from the Tunis Bay. Kamariat is authentic, staff is more than gentle. I had a great time talking with Tarek who had very cleaver points of views. My comment is the voice of those who like living, traveling, like nature, like culture and like people. Don't listen to other comments, it is just noise. The staff can organize for you trip to different places like Wadi Hitan or Wadi El Rayan. I did it in one day. I stay there also for diner, and it was also excellent... If you are a hipster, trendy cool guy citizen of the world, this place for you. If you are a third-world-new-rich, stay in Dubai, thanks.

“I didn't wanna go home”
The staff was awesome, everyone there was extremely helpful, unbelievable hospitality, absolute safety, everyone was cheerful and helpful, Ahmed and Alice were always there for help, I went there on my own, however they were really great company, very friendly and caring. It was a great experience.

The stuff, especially Ahmed was really nice and kind. The room was big and clean and the view of the lake was amazing. Really nice place to stay and chill
