The area is an oasis of tranquility. Both the rooms and the garden/area are designed very nice and with an eye for detail. Food offered is delicious and fairly priced (they have vegetarian options as well). The owner (and the other staff members) is super friendly and speaks French, Spanish and English. Location is nice: when you enter the beach you are at the intersection of the busy fish market and the quiet beach. We extended our stay. Very recommended!

Words can't describe how amazing Natur Ubuntu is! Roberto and his team are beautifying the lodge with so much love! The huts are spacious, stylish, clean and WiFi works everywhere. The garden is soo beautiful! The bar has always cold dinks and the food is cooked with love. All the meals we had were delicious. The lodge is situated between a lake, where you can observe birds and the ocean. The day trip with Moize is a must! It was so hard to leave! Highly recommended!

Food was good and well- priced. Naturubuntu is very well run, clean and very eco-friendky. It sits between a lake on one side which was nearly full in December from.the rainy season. It is full of birds and at least one crocodile, beautiful spot. On the other side is the very busy fishing beach and tto the North just miles of sand, sun and sea. Plenty of day trips available and Robert will help you organise them. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Hospitality was the best! Breakfast, lunch and dinner super tasty. Staff so so friendly and helpful. Perfect location beside beach and lake. Couldn't ask for me. A must visit for all.

A piece of Paradise, we loved EVERYTHING here, amazing hospitality! We stayed in the beautiful (clay) ECO House, constructed by the owner himself, with lots of love for details ("dry toilet") a marvelous garden and delicious food. If you are crazy enough to arrive by car, you might want to leave it at the main road and take a shortcut by walking, as it's pretty adventurous otherwise... No hot water - which wasn't a problem at all

“Nice Lodge-Style Accommodations Near Kafountine Beach”

Natur Ubuntu Lodge is located near Kafountine Beach and within walking distance of the village and the fish market. The rooms are clean and the common areas are well-maintained. The owner is helpful and friendly and can arrange taxis to Ziguinchor and the Gambia. The place is a bit difficult to find, so have your taxi driver call the lodge for directions.
