Loved the friendly staff, especially Chimney, who is a most caring and hospitable host. It is a newly established inn, the staff were very attentive to our needs and we enjoyed interesting conversations with Chimney too.

Amazing stay at Destiny Blo Inn. The location is a little out of the way, so make sure you plan ahead with anything you need as there's nothing close-by. Rooms are very spacious and clean, bathrooms are spotless, nice and tasty breakfast served in the morning. Do not miss the chance of doing the game drive activity with Chimney: it's definitely been one of the highlights of our trip!

Comfortable accommodation and good value for money - the owner is very responsive and reliable and incredibly knowledgeable for game-drives. Just note that the price does not include any meals, transfers or activities.

The safari was amazing, very dedicated staff, the bed was very comfy, in the bathroom was very nice shower soap, the staff cleaned the room in between our stay, the food was expensive but worth it (freshly made with vegetables)

“Poor, lack of communication, lots of flies”

When we arrived there was no one to greet us, the front gate was hard to open, and there was LOTS of flies! We asked about Chobe national park to the lady who finally greeted us, but we didn’t find out anything from her, such as opening and closing times etc. or best routes around the park. we tried to sit in the common areas but it was very hard due to all the dead and alive flies. The breakfast was terrible, just some pieces of toast with flies on them and some cereal again with flies on. We handed our washing in the afternoon before we left with assurances from the owner that it would be ready for when we were leaving the following day at 9am, when we collected our washing it was still soaking wet and a lot of it was dirty and smelt musty (probably had been out in the rain all night). Overall, the owner needs someone to be in the property to greet guests when he is out with other guests taking them on safaris as this was our initial view of the property - which wasn’t good.

Great experience! Fantastic opportunity to relax, join a private safari and get to know more about Botswana. Our host had his own farm nearby and after years working as a guide is offering an experience where one does not only get to see the wildlife of the country but interact with its inhabitants. He joined us for an excellent dinner and breakfast, all cooked with ingredients from his or nearby farms and we had the opportunity to learn so much about life in Botswana. We can also highly recommend the walk we did in the early morning to explore tracks left by animals and learn about local plants.

​Our stay at Destiny Blo Inn was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt less like hotel guests and more like visiting family. ​The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the hosts. Chimney and his wife are some of the most welcoming and kind-hearted people we have ever met. Because of travel delays, we arrived much later than expected, but they were incredibly gracious—they stayed up late just to welcome us and even had a delicious warm meal waiting for us upon arrival. That level of care is so rare and was exactly what we needed after a long journey. ​ ​The inn itself is a sanctuary. It is incredibly peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to unwind. The amenities are wonderful and well-maintained, providing everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. ​ ​We spent New Year’s with Chimney and his family, and it was a truly special experience that we will cherish. Their warmth turned a simple holiday into a core memory of our trip to Botswana. ​ I cannot recommend Destiny Blo Inn enough. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat with hosts who go above and beyond, this is the place. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Botswana!

We chose Destiny Blo Inn because it was within our budget & close to the Chobe Reserve for us to explore. We got far more than what we expected. Chimney has done a fantastic job at bridging the gap between tourists & locals. He’s wanting to share his love for wildlife with his neighbours & the tourists who come to visit. We did a full day safari with Chimney & his knowledge is incredible. He even stopped to ID insects & birds for us. 100% recommend you stay at the Destiny Blo Inn. The shared dinners and breakfast was a plus. Chimney was also incredibly kind to make us lunch on the day we arrived & took us to see the sunset.

10/10 accommodation with a host who really knows how to take care of his guests. The entire staff will make sure you sleep well and eat good. Very knowledgable host, Chimney, that offers amazing activities and lets you experience the culture of Botswana as well as the game viewing of Botswana.
