I accidentally found this guest house. And I was pleasantly surprised. Despite the fact that I arrived at 5:30 a.m., and check-in was only at 2 p.m., I was checked in without any problems and even provided free breakfast. The staff is very friendly. The tea is delicious. And if you are worried about your safety, you don't need to do it. Opposite the guest house is the Iranian embassy, and this place is guarded better than world stars.

The staff in the hotel, supervised by manager Bilal, are really helpful, understanding, polite, and always trying to do their best to satisfy the clients. The hotel is really close to everything you need. Bilal is responding quickly to any request, anytime during the day. Laundry service is available upon request. I really recommend that place to any tourist, and you should ask for Bilal the manager, he speaks English, and will try his best to serve you.

The hotel has very good security and I felt safe. The staff, especially the receptionist, was very honest and kind. I also appreciated the thoughtful gesture during Ramadan when the staff woke me for Sahur and brought complimentary food.

Friendly guest house with mainly helpful staff. Rooms secure and big. Hot water. We had a leaking douche but it was fixed. ATM 200m away in supermarket was useful. Nice garden to sit when the weather is nice. Security good. Breakfast and tea available. Maiwand helpful.

Location is good, security is high, room is very big and comfortable except the bathroom. Staffs were polite, friendly and welcoming, they helped us with the taxi and local information.

Close to main shopping street 3 min walk, close to the Airport 10 min by taxi with no traffic, taxi price 100 afghan rupee to airport, from airport they charge you around 300 afghan rupee. Great sitting area, very nice staff, always helpful and polite. Nice manager and the chief as well. The area is safe also if you come with a bike or car, there are many parking lots. Tea is free of charge. Breakfast is good. The main door is open 24 hours with a security guard, just knock and they will let you in. This is my second stay here, I can recommend it.

stayed at Afghania Hotel for 1 nights in September and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the view of the city skyline was stunning. Breakfast was fresh and had a good variety, although I would have loved to see more vegetarian options. The hotel is in a perfect location just a short walk to restaurants and the train station. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return on my next trip.

Very hospitable and safe, as such very quiet. Very central and close to the area around the Majid Mall, one filled lots of places to eat and hangout; as well as close to the Ministry for getting that permit. Great breakfast out out in the lovely garden, with its little 'bird market' tweeting away in the background.

Breakfast was green tea, cheese, bread, eggs. Nice garden to sit in and chat with other guests, infront of main shopping street made it very convenient for coffeeshops and restaurant dinning. Good personal, hard working special Ahmed. Rooms are basic, bed a fan and a coach. AC is extra charge pr day. I would recommend to choose rooms opposite garden view these are cooler rooms due to they are in the shade. Close to airport max 150 afn money 15 min ride. Main doors open 24 hours pr day with security guard.

Surprisingly fully equipped accommodation. We were more than satisfied with the comfort, spaciousness and even the exceptional cleanliness. Not only the room but also the outside space was notably pleasant. The staff was cordial and helpful. Finally, the neighbourhood felt ideally located (also close to a popular park) and safe. Would surely visit again.
