Overview
Situated on Austvågøya Island in the Lofoten Archipelago, these apartments and cottages include views of the Vestfjord and a well-equipped kitchen. Central Kabelvåg is 3 km away. WiFi is free in the reception building. A seating area, kitchen facilities, dining area and private toilets are featured in all units at Sandvika Camping. Some apartments have a washing machine and dishwasher. Boats and bicycles can be rented on site and basic groceries and fishing equipment can be bought at Sandvika’s kiosk. Buns and rolls are served in the reception during Summer. Guests have access to a laundry facilities and a TV room. Children will enjoy free daily scheduled activities during summer. The E10 Highway is 1 km away. The Lofoten Aquarium and Museum Nord are both within 7 minutes’ drive. Svolvær town centre is 9 km away.

“There were bedbugs and the staff never refunded the stay.”
DO NOT STAY HERE!! There were bedbugs in our cabin!!! When we reached out to the staff they promised to get back to us. They never did and I started emailing them. First they answered and promised to refund the stay. However, after I sent my bank account details they stopped answering me and never made the refund. I’ve been trying to contact them for two months now but they don’t seem to care.

Great location (very close to Svolvaer) for exploring the whole archipelago. We had a spacious upstairs room with beautiful views to the mountains and the sea. Own small kitchenette in the room, private toilet right next to the door, and a shared bathroom. Easy and free parking, so overall excellent value for money.

The location of the camping is convenient as in between Svolvær and Henningsvaer. The view from the camping is wonderful.

“Awesome!”
What a lovely camping spot! Right next to the water, with its own beach and some lovely mountains and rocks all around. Very calm atmosphere. Loved my little hut that had all the essentials and stove/ microwave on top. Will definitely return.

Small but functional apartment inside of a camping. There was a private toilet right outside the apt and a shared shower in the building with free hot water. Essential kitchenette where you can make yourself a basic meal. I had some problems with the self check-in but luckily the reception was open and the staff very helpful. Good deal for the price
