“Amazing place to visit Lofoten”

We had a great family stay at Kalle in Lofoten and can highly recommend it. From the moment we arrived, May Linn and Andrea made us feel very welcome and took good care of us throughout our stay. Kalle offers a lot of activities like kayaking, sauna, boats, and bicycles, all surrounded by beautiful nature. The area is perfect for climbing at Paradise, hiking, and just enjoying nature. A peaceful and special place that we hope to visit again.

The staff were absolutely fantastic — genuinely warm, welcoming, and going beyond what you would normally expect. That level of hospitality really stood out. The atmosphere of the place is beautiful. The wood-burning fireplace, the cozy sofa area, the hardwood floors, and the stunning location all create a special, authentic Lofoten feeling. The sauna access was another major highlight and made the stay even better. Compared to many other rorbuer we’ve experienced, this one feels noticeably nicer, more refined, and more thoughtfully designed.

The location, at a small fjord and next to high mountains, is beautiful, while only a 15 minutes drive away from Svolvaer where all the supermarkets and the airport are. Tourist sights like Henningsvaer and Kabelvag are also really close by. Kalle has its own private little beach for guests, and a large number of facilities that the guests are welcome to use for free (Kayaks, SUP boards, BBQ, laundry room, terrace, indoor badminton court, tabletennis table, trampoline for children, motorboat, and I am probably even forgetting some). The cabins are clean and are well-equipped as well. Every cabin also has its own parking lot. The staff is really kind, helpful and flexible.

The location is beautiful . And it is lovely to have facilities on site like the communal area , kayaks , table tennis , paddle board . Nice to have BBQ ,s available and a really nice touch to have fresh herbs available for picking to add to your meals .

Loved everything! Facilities in the lodge and within larger main building excellent and apart from (very reasonable) motorboat hire, everything is within the price. Sauna after a chilly dip every day. Super cosy and relaxing stay. Most impressive was our host Aurora who was delightful, bubbly and so helpful. Also makes a delicious banana loaf! ❤️

“A perfect stay in the most idyllic location”

The location is incredible - a beautiful and quiet spot. The sauna is otherworldly and is an experience we will remember for the rest of our lives. The facilities at Kalle i Lofoten are fantastic - and many are included in the cost. We loved our accommodation and our stay.

We received a very warm welcome in Kalle and loved all the facilities provided. We had a comfortable cabin with a wood-burner and also made full use of the cosy common room area. It felt like we'd been welcomed into a family home and we enjoyed using the sports hall for badminton and table tennis, the bikes, the kayaks, the sauna and even helping ourselves to freshly grown salad. Kalle was also a great base for exploring the central part of the Lofoten islands, which are absolutely stunning.

Brilliant accommodation, beautiful cabins with activities galore on site - highly recommend!! Loved the sauna and the morning kayak was excellent 👌

Kalle i Lofoten is a beautiful location on the fjord. The rorbuer are some meters away from water with a beautiful view. The cabins look very original, everything is wooden and they are very clean. Kitchen is well equipped. But the best are all the facilities that are included in price (sauna, bathing spot, row boat, kayak, bicycles, everything to fish, badminton and table tennis, small gym, tea room and common room,...). Our stay was really pleasant.
