Very nice location, next to the lake, very calm place.

Pretty small, but very basic, huts next to the lake. Very quite (we were the only guest). Friendly and helpful staff! We had a great view from our hut.

It has been a great experience staying in Amasiko. The food was incredible, and so is the cooker!! She works hard to get the best eco vegetables from the land and then serves them with lots of love. We have had hot showers with the smell of wood, because the water is hotted with fire!! We have had interesting chats around the table with these two fantastic ugandans that have made our stay wonderful. And having a bath in the lake that is just some steps from the cottage and canoying around has been fantastic. Don't look for luxury in this place, it is a great place to relax from the cities and noise

What is great about this location is the peace you find there. You can perfectly relax here directly at the lake and the food is amazing.

“Peaceful lake Bunyonyi guesthouse”

Simple and peaceful guesthouse at lake Bunyonyi shores in semi remote location. I unluckily arrived with a health problem on my arrival day, and these people took great care of me. Very grateful for their kindness, I highly recommended Amasiko.

Really silent part of the lake. big rooms very comfortable beds. Versatile food according to your needs. Lovely family.

Wilfried and his family are absolute gems. We had the best stay there, loved sharing our meals with the family and getting to know more about the region through the eyes of a local. Wilfried also helped us organise a day trip to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for my partner’s birthday gift. It was certainly a highlight of our time in Africa. The views from the bedroom were stunning, we spent some time on the balcony just reading and watching the lake. The sunset was beautiful. The cooking was all homemade and delicious with a mix of local recipes and international recipes. The shower was hot and had excellent water pressure.

I loved everything! The lake! The people! The hosts are amazing souls! The food!

That is the best place for resting after the gorilla trek. We spent there 4 days on trekking, swimming, canoeing and doing nothing. The owners are extremely friendly, helpful and easy going. We really enjoyed the food they served. The place is located in an unspoilt area, distanced from the city and other lodges. Wr highly recommend Amasiko.

Great hospitality, very good food, idyllic location perfect to detox from an office environment. Our 3-year-old child loved it too. We can highly recommend the boat trip to explore the lake and some of its 29 islands.
