We had a fantastic stay at Finlandia Hotel Alba and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jyväskylä. The hotel is beautifully located right on the shores of Lake Jyväsjärvi, with lovely views and a peaceful, scenic atmosphere. A short walk along the lakeside path takes you straight into the city centre — the perfect combination of tranquility and convenience. The room was clean, comfortable, and modern, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall feeling of the hotel was cozy and welcoming. Free parking was another big plus. If you're looking for a hotel with a great location by the lake in Jyväskylä, this is the one. We will gladly return!

Everything was very good except no proper heating and tiny room and bed

Sauna Facilities were excellent and being able to access the lake for a swim was un-expected.

The breakfast was great. I loved being able to use the bike for free as it saved me time and money. The beds were comfortable and the room as it should be. I didn't spend much time there but I liked it. The staff was cheerful and friendly.

Very close to the university. I had a very yummy dinner at the restaurant, would definitely recommend it. Beautiful view of the lake and bridge.

Always a nice stay at the edge of the city right next to the amazing foot bridge, but otherwise and generally a typical hotel. All good.

I am being welcomed with good English, and fast reception transaction, and being given a room that view very exceptional beautiful and the temperature of the room is very good for autumn.

Very nice hotel direct at the lake with beautiful terrace . You can walk straight into the nature . It's a quiet atmosphere ,peaceful . Staff is friendly and helpful . Rooms are comfortable and breakfast is great . I also enjoyed the sauna , which is for free . Very recommended !

“A decent 3-start hotel”

The location if perfect if you are visiting the University, the hotel is just right next to it. You don't need a car as it's just across the courtyard. The hotel is also located next to great walking paths, they give you a map of shorter and longer paths around the lake. The breakfast is a regular Finnish breakfast with the common dietary restrictions well marked and on their own special table. Oat porridge, yogurt with toppings, bread and a few different toppings, eggs in a few different formats and bacon.
