Overview
Renovated in 2015, Daina Jurmala Beach Hotel is located in a quiet part of Jurmala, only 120 metres from the shores of the Gulf of Riga. The property is just a 10-minute drive to the centre of Jurmala. Free WiFi access is available throughout. Each room features a spacious entrance hall and bedrooms equipped with elegant wooden furniture. All rooms have a cable TV, a work desk and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Most rooms additionally offer a balcony and some have a sauna. We paid for SPA, however instructions are that you should call via the phone to reserve it. We arrived at 5 pm and tried to call every 5-10min for 2 hours, then gave up and ended with no SPA. Overpaid for it.

got breakfast only one day. it was good. last day didnt get breakfast because there was a party last night that was disturbing and at morning was there big mess an no breakfast.

“Dissapointing spa rules and not understandable staff”
The furniture were prety in bad shape. We had a quite big issue with spa rules, since it works until 21:00. We had a late check in and asked to use spa around 19:45 but were not allowed. Because staff were afraid that we will not leave until 21:00. Talked with staff explained that we need 30 min just for kid to use a pool. Still answer was no.. Even worse was that after we wanted to use showers but there was no hot water. Next day we visited spa ant kids poll was like a bath. Around 50 degrees. It was for both days, no kids were using it because it was too hot.

We celebrated the new year at your hotel. We liked the spa part, and we saw beautiful fireworks through the window. We liked that there was a kitchen so we could feed the baby. The room has a slightly retro feel.
