Yes, it’s remote. But that’s what we were looking for. But then the standard for this place so far off of everything is super good. You‘ll have everything you need and the hospitality parred with the tranquility is outstanding. We‘ve learned alot about the life in a valley with only 30 something inhabitants and the Huskies were a bonus our son loved alot. So sad we had to leave after two nights.

Great value, generously sized log cabin off the beaten track with wonderful views of peaks all around and a waterfall coming over the edge of the Junkerdal massif. Immaculately clean. Good well-equipped kitchen. Ideal base for a family or group of friends.

Wonderful. Quiet, beautiful surroundings, very friendly owners. Big, clean and cozy cottage. Could've stayed longer. Just to notify: google maps still shows wrong directions, I recommend using Waze. One of the best places and I have stayed in many different places.

This Appartment is in of the most beautiful locations I’ve ever been. If you like nature and peace and calm then this is the place to go. The house is super cozy. All you need. Check in very comfortable.

beautiful quiet environment with a lot of outdoor possibilities. Two big cosy and clean cabins on the property which are suitable for 6 people and have everything you need. Very nice and helpful owners. Lovely husky's which we were able to meet.

A wonderful stay at Visit Junkerdal! My wife considers it as her dream house and gives 10 out of 10. Big thanks to Randi and Stig for helping us to rescue our car from stuck in the deep snow! A small comment to the guests who are visiting Junkerdal in winter: please try to avoid driving to the cottage 100% following the Google navigation. The short cut through the camping area towards the cottage from #77 road from north can be risky, as the car can easily stuck in heavy snow.

“Great location”

We spent 3 nights here. We loved the views and we caught auroras on the first night here ( in 23th of December ). The location was clean and gave us only cozy vibes. The kitchen and the dining area were spacious enough for us (2 couples). The hosts were very friendly and borrowed us her own hairdryer when we asked.

The location, facilities, and parking are excellent. The kitchen is well equipped with everything one may need to cook meals. The shower is very good and clean. It is a quiet and very relaxing area. The snow sledge dogs are friendly and great to interact with - they liked patting them on their heads. The hosts are very nice, and helpful and we liked the small conversation we had with them about their experiences in starting and keeping up the accommodation.

Such a beautiful and peaceful location. Hostess was also very welcoming and helpful. We got to see lottttssss of stars during the night! Cabin itself was very spacious, nice and warm and had everything we needed. Very clean as well.

The house is very big, with everything you need. The best part was, that the owners helped me to repair my bike in the middle of the night. They have lots of spareparts for mostly everything.
