Overall, we actually liked the hotel, but our experience was significantly impacted by the staff behavior during check-out. We were traveling with service dogs, completed all required paperwork at check-in, and were informed that a room inspection would be conducted after departure. At check-out, I asked to have the inspection done in my presence to avoid any misunderstandings — at that time there were no guests waiting, but the staff member refused. Instead of addressing my request, she diverted the conversation and started making comments about our dogs allegedly barking, even though the dog was outside the hotel premises. These remarks were unrelated to the situation and did not address my request. She then continued to behave rudely, refused to document her refusal, and ultimately stopped communicating by shutting the door. We left the room in perfect condition and documented everything, but this kind of behavior is highly unprofessional. As a business owner myself, it is especially disappointing to see how one employee can damage the reputation of a hotel that has been established for many years

We got the whole apartment. Kitchen, sofa inside, very spacious. Beautiful mountains around. Hot tea and coffee available in lobby. The design of the hotel itself is very unique and atmospheric.

The hotel is in a good location and was clean and well presented. It has a nice lobby area where you can sit and relax. Outside is a small plunge pool.

The accommodation was great for two couples with everything we needed for self-catering. The building has a lot of character and a fascinating history. The staff were very welcoming and obliging.

Swiss style hotel. History of famous people staying ( film stars of yesteryear). Quiet neighbourhood at the time of visit - Sept. A bit dated, but clean and plenty kitchen utensils for preparing food. All staff met were friendly, helpful and informative. Would stay again. June Lake was quiet, with a general store and a few eating places. Felt safe.
