Nice and cozy room for vacation. Warmed and friendly owner and staff. You have all you need for cooking, camping, site seeing and resting. It is such as good time for me and my family. We are late for this winter travel season, so camp is peaceful and quite for private activities both inside and outside. Night snowmobile and Dog sledding are new experience to us. This is such a wonderful time in Kiruna, Sweden. We will back next time.

“Cozy cabin with amazing view”

Cozy cabin in an amazing location just upon the lake

Maybe this is normal for Sweden, but we had to put the bed sheets on ourselves. The cleanliness was average. The cutlery, plates, and kitchen equipment were also of average quality. The staff did not seem very motivated or enthusiastic about their work. Additionally, there was no information provided in the room about activities available in the area. Before our trip, we clearly mentioned that we would be traveling with our 2.5-year-old child and wanted the tours to be arranged accordingly. The plan was made in this way. However, during the snowmobile tour, even though there was a covered sled, our son still got cold. Therefore, we requested to change the dog sled tour on the following day to a different activity, but our request was denied and we were charged for the tour we did not attend. There also seemed to be a lack of communication among the staff. On the last day, when it was time to pay, we were asked to pay a higher price than what had been previously agreed upon. Fortunately, we had the price confirmation in our messages. Although all the necessary equipment was available for the snowmobile tour, there was no proper guidance. We were simply given basic helmets and sent off. There was also no proper briefing before the tour. The wilderness safari did not meet our expectations. It was just a one- to two-hour ride in an old vehicle with insufficient heating. Overall, we believe that the service quality definitely needs improvement.

“Unforgettable trip by the open lake in the polar circle”

We had a wonderful time there, although we just one day late for the northern lights, we still had a lot of fun activities arranged by the heart warming hosts to complete the unforgettable trip! The cabin is cozy and comfortable enough compared to the outside world. The camp is just located next to a very big and open lake, perfect for spotting the northern lights and going for a snow scooter ride!

“Northern lights”

As the location is a bit aside from Kiruna, we were able to see such incredible northern lights, that really was a blessing! And the accommodation for four people was affordable.

Really good location right in nature. perfect for seeing Northern lights straight from the house. Beautiful frozen lake good for crosscountry skiing etc. Good value for money and friendly owner. -31'c the coldest morning but the cabin was still warm with gas heater.

“A Peaceful Winter Getaway”

We had a very comfortable stay and loved the location! It’s perfect if you have your own transport and want to stay outside the city for some quality time and winter activities. The rooms were clean and well-managed, and our host was incredibly responsive throughout the trip. Highly recommended!

Easy check in

Everything was amazing! We went for ice fishing and chasing the aurora at the night with snowmobile, for sure a life time experience! Stephan was really helpful, a great guide and ana even better storyteller! He knew exactly the places and the right time we should go for seeing the aurora! Thank you very much :)) The room was clean, warm and as seen in the pictures.

We loved how quiet and still the night and day were. It was paradise for our minds. The bunk beds were comfortable and cozy. There was enough kitchen equipment and the bathroom was good. It’s a cabin in the woods. Sten was very helpful and made us feel comfortable and welcome. He took us to the supermarket to get what we needed on the way to transferring us to Camp Caroli. I didn’t want to stay in the cabin for the afternoon like my family did so I asked Sten if we could go ice fishing. He said he could organise it in an hour. I was so grateful and it was fun driving a snow mobile for the first time on the frozen lake where we made holes in the snow and ice to fish! So good. Such a wonderful experience. Everyone loved the dogs and the dog sledding the day before. Fantastic stay and adventure fur us

We had great view of the lake, where we could see the northern lights, which would not have been possible in kiruna.

“Pauli”

Very cozy little cabin right next to owners house and other cabins. Clean and equipped with everything you need inc. Kitchen hardware. Location by the lakeside was nice and the host is really helpfull.

“Perfect cabin for us”

The place was nice and comfy. It was close to a frozen lake so when the aurora hits, it was exceptional. The place fits for the 4 of us, with a complete set of kitchen utensils for cooking.

It's a great place with the owner who lives nearby, and is very helpful in any situation (from tour booking, to providing some additional necessities). Cabin itself is cozy and clean. Kitchen has everything needed. Even in minus 20-25C it's warm inside. Snowmobile tour with the owner was great. We also enjoyed god sledding organised by him and his colleagues. Famous Ice Hotel is just 10 min drive from this place. It's a bit away from Kiruna, so at night the sky is very clear with no light pollution.

“Easy to find, reasonably priced, very clean”

We needed a place for 1 night while travelling and the price was good, the cabin was very clean, and the small kitchen had everything we needed

It is just outside Jukkasjärvi village, close to icehotel and Sami museum, 15 minutes to Kiruna. Location is fantastic, just next to the lake with clean northern view, perfect for watching northern lights. Cottage was clean, warm and cosy, everything we needed, host Stefan very nice and helpful.

Very good comunication and deals with owner. Very beautifully and quite place.
