Most reviews mention the lack of a private bathroom and a very small space, we felt quite comfortable. It’s exactly what is stated in the advertisement and what you’re paying for.

The Hobbit Hut was more cosy than I expected it to be. As a budget traveller, I've had my fair share of terrible accomodations, so this was an unexpected dream for me. Well heated (I'm usually cold even indoors, but not here!), equipped with a small fridge, a microwave, an electric kettle, and some disposable plates, cups and utensils. The sofa (which you can extend) was very comfortable, the sheets were thick and clean. Located right next to the lake that offers several activities. I was also very lucky to see the northern lights from the camp. The staff was nice and helpful, they communicated well and answered any questions I had. They were all fun to hang out with on the tours as well. I hope to come back some day!

Cute little hut. Separate private bathroom, unfortunately without a shower (but we knew that, it was in the description). Easy self check-in. Very quick and friendly contact via WhatsApp and the Booking chat. Parking spot just next to the hut.

“Small hobit house near lake”

Very small and cozy hobit house for maximum 1 or 2 person with sofa in the middle. Include, fridge, kettle, radiator and other thinks you need to stay. None luxury accommodation, but for simply travelers, exactly very good. Near is lumberyard with WC and washbasin with hot/cold water.

The location is very nice, many activities available, the little hobbit hut was cozy, clean, warm and comfy. It's a nice place to see the northern lights just a step from the lake!

Beautiful location by the lake, so we enjoyed fantastic views and lovely peace and quiet. The hut and the separate bathroom were clean and the hosts helped us arranged the dog sledding tour, amazing!

“Amazing Lakeside Stay with Great Activities!”

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful lakeside retreat! The location was perfect, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, especially in wintertime. The activities were well-organized and so much fun, from dog sledding to a snowmobile tour. A special highlight was the super friendly host, Stefan, who made us feel welcome from the start. Our accommodation, the Hobbit Hut, was really cute and comfortable. Although it only had a bed, a small fridge and a microwave, it came with everything we needed (plates, forks, etc.). This was clearly mentioned beforehand, so we came prepared. We can’t wait to return!

The location - between a lake and the woods - was superb, and incredibly peaceful. We loved having our own cozy little hut - a wonderful first taste of the Arctic! The host (Stefan) was very helpful and friendly, and our dogsledding tour was very well organised and hugely enjoyable.

The hut was right next to the frozen lake which had the most amazing views of the northern lights when they were viable. It was so peaceful and quiet, I would recommend having a vehicle as it makes things easier, but I do believe they offer pick ups and drop offs. The trips we booked with stefan with perfect and he is an amazing host

“Unforgettable”

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I've never felt better anywhere. Peace, serenity and calm like never before. The host Stephan is perfect, accessible, helpful and deeply human (he even warned us of the arrival of the northern lights). Thank you for this stay, I'll be back, and recommend it.

Awesome view and hut was warm

“Hobbit Hut a romantic place to stay”

Hobbit Hut is a romantic place, small but we got what we expected. Ideal for one or two nights to watch Northern lights. We were lucky and first night we had spectacular view on sky full of stars, half moon and Northern lights. Thanks to Stefan and Jonathan we had beautiful stay full of activities on snow. Wish to come back.
