“Great experience”

The house was perfect and had everything we needed. We especially loved the large glass windows surrounding the house. The frozen lake right in front of our window created a breathtaking view during winter. The only disappointment was that we didn’t get to see the Northern Lights during our stay, but the location would offer a perfect, unobstructed view if it appeared. Aside from the remote location, everything was excellent. The team was friendly, very helpful, and easy to communicate with. Special thanks to Zsolt, who was always ready to assist us—even up to the very last minute when seeing us off. Would definitely come back if we have the chance in the future and would highly recommend Camp Caroli to our friends.

The location was amazing, nestled right on the edge of the frozen lake. We just had to step outside the cabin to see the most spectacular 360 degree views of the skies. Perfect for Northern Lights viewing, and daytime fun the next day with the family onm the frozen snowy lake! The cabin was warm, clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed in the Family House, it was just perfect. The views amazing from the cabin, and the hosts friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Stefan even came to the cabin to collect payment for the next days dogsledding saving us from having to do it. Thank you!

I saw Nothern light at the first night, and the bed room and living room are very clean other than charged towel and linen.

Beautiful House by the lake! The living room is amazing, such a pleasure to wake up there, look at the big windows and enjoy the sunrise on the lake! Very quiet place. We were there mi-october and were welcomed by Northern lights the first night 😍 We had the pleasure to meet the owner of the House, really nice.

The location of the cabin is stunning. It feels like your own private lake! A beautiful sunset and morning, and in between it's a perfect spot for the Northern Lights. The last photo below was taken just on a phone inside through a window! You can either set up outside or sit inside with the warmth and watch the show through the window.

Title: Incredible Arctic Experience – Stunning Location & Warm Hospitality Our stay at Camp Caroli in Jukkasjärvi was truly unforgettable! The house is beautifully located at the edge of a lake, offering breathtaking views. Upon arrival, Stefan had already heated the cabin for us, making it warm and cozy. As soon as we looked out the window, we were treated to an incredible northern lights show – an absolutely magical welcome! The next day, Stefan took us on an amazing trip to the mountains, where we saw a herd of moose up close. Later, we explored the frozen lake and surrounding forest on snowmobiles, which was such a thrilling adventure! In the evening, we relaxed in the wood-burning sauna, which was perfect after a day out in the cold. To top it off, we went for another snowmobile ride at night, which created an incredible and almost surreal atmosphere. Stefan is a fantastic host—very welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about the area. He made sure we had the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a true Arctic adventure combined with comfort and stunning nature, Camp Caroli is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

“Amazing !”

everything was perfect. The house is perfecty located just in front of a big lake (frozen during winter time). The view from the house is wonderful. The house is warm and well equiped. if you are lucky, you can observe northern lights from the house and just in front of it from the lake. Stefan welcomed us warmly. We also enjoyed a lot the activities booked at Camp Caroli (dogsleeding and safari excursion).

Amazing location next to the lake, reindeer were passing the house, which connected us with nature. There was also an option for sauna. Definitely recommend this place.

Everything. I can only recommend staying there. The family house is the actual family house of the team behind camp Caroli and it feels right at home. It’s a dreamy cabin at the end of the road with a view directly on the frozen lake. You can’t beat this location. And don’t get me started on the northern lights. It’s the best place to see any. And we saw many! And on New Year’s Eve! Honestly we couldn’t have dreamt of a better way to start 2025. Go at Camp Caroli! The team is super nice, it’s a family run business and you can tell as they make you feel part of the family as well. All the activities are wonderful and well organized. Just pure polar bliss. The house is warm and comfortable. Even by minus 25 which is the temp we got when we were there. The kitchen is big and nice to cook in. And the bathroom has all you need. Just a perfect place really.

The property was cozy and provided a wonderful connection to nature and above our expectations. The view of the Northern Lights from the house was breathtaking, and the peaceful surroundings made it an ideal getaway and a perfect Christmas.

“Good value for money”

Location. The cabin was overlooking the frozen lake. We were lucky we had two nights of the northern lights for our 2-night stay and considering it was a weekend. From 8 PM to 5:30 AM! Stefan was accommodating. I have already recommended this place to friends and colleagues. We would not mind going back.
