Services provided by the hotel: shuttle bus pickup to and from the hotel. Great hospitality provided by the staff.

The room was a fun mix of Japanese and Western. Men and Womens big bath were swapped overnight allowing you to experience both onsen facilities. Private Baths are available for a fee. Lounge was excellent with a great mix of time based offerings. Number of people at the hotel is also low, allowing for a more quiet onsen experience.

Amazing Ryokan! The best I have ever stayed. I was surprised by the amount of food served during dinner. Stayed here for a total of 3 nights, as a small eater, every dinner I had to stuff all the delicious food into my tummy. The waitresses were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The lounge is the highlight. It was a perfect place to unwind with beer, snacks, desserts and music. It has a beautiful gorge view too! The indoor and outdoor bath were well maintained. But indoor bath was super hot. My family would like to stay here again!

Very disappointing experience. There was no staff available to help with luggage, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The onsen is not included and requires an additional payment, which was not clearly communicated. The worst part was the lack of privacy and professionalism. A female staff member opened the onsen door without knocking while we were completely naked. This was extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate. Overall, very bad service and poor management. I would not recommend this hotel.

Love that the lounge provides different snacks & drinks at different time of the day & there is always something to look forward to.

“Best relaxing stay in Jozankei.”

Hotel was beautiful, located on a side of the valley overlooking another hotel. The half-boarding option was great! A lot of snacks provided during the stay at the lounge. Even free beer from 1700-1800hrs. Plenty of convenient stores within walking distance. Our second time back. Fantastic.

Room is spacious and clean. Set dinner and breakfast are mediocre and need improvement. Facilities are good. The public lounge is very cozy and full of activities.

If you stayed at the hotel, the website said the bus from sapporo to the hotel is free. But we are charged ¥2600 for the bus. When we asked why we are charged since we are staying in the hotel. She said cos we booked the hotel thr booking.com. Then the hotel should clarified when we booked & gave the booking details. The booking details will tell them that we booked thr booking.com.

I really like facilities here. Room is really good and spacious. View is good. Not far from park. Near foot bath. The hotel is located on small hills. My English is not very well and I cannot speak Japanese, so sometimes it is difficult to communicate. However, all staffs I met were very helpful.
