The dinner and breakfast are both very good. I love the sushi rice bowl in breakfast time so much. The room is very comfy and spacious with massage chair! This was the 2nd time I stay in this hotel. I will recommend you to stay! The Onsen is good too, very big! Many carpark spaces and free of charge.

The onsen was a highlight of the stay, especially the outdoor onsen. However, the onsen closes early on check-out day, leaving no time for an additional visit.

Buffet breakfast and dinner was awesome. Great variety and if you stay more than 2 nights, they offer special item and desserts to try. It was very delicious. Onsen was clean and comfortable. Room was great and big. Staff were all very friendly. One of them helped me made a reservation in japanese to a location for sightseeing, I am very grateful. The location was great, just next to the Tourist Center so very convenient to join the local tours which you can only book and pay on the day itself. Overall, it was a great stay.

“Memorable”

This is the 2nd time we were here. We love: The buffet and selection of alcohol. We can pay extra to have free flow of wine and sake. The harp performance and marshmallow by the fire. Outdoor Onsen. Room settings.

The best hotel in Jozankei, Sapporo. We booked the cottage due to the outdoor onsen. We very much enjoyed the restaurant and loved the food options! Our favorite was the almond tuilles and milk soft serve ice cream. Highly recommended!

“Amazing stay in Jozankei!”

The property was very relaxing in general and everything was carefully thought out. I especially enjoyed the harp performance and marshmallow toasting session at the lobby at night. The breakfast and dinner spread was amazing as well. There were plenty of parking at the location.

Food was great, both breakfast and dinner lunch. I just wish they had more options and bigger portions for that awesome steak. The only "not so positive" thing that I experienced during our stay is that gaze from the "Steak" staff who's preparing the portions. It felt like she didn't want me there anymore after 5 servings. There are only 2-3slices per serving!

“Memorable experience staying with Tsuruga”

Breathtaking views room as well as dining area and common area, especially when it’s snowing. Facilities are modern and relaxing. Food wise it’s not bad with a variety of Japanese cuisine and Japanese western fusion. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Their attention to details are impressive. Witnessed them patiently assist the physically challenged elderly lady into the van when it was snowing and very windy.

Posh hotel with very attentive and helpful staff. Buffet dinner has a good spread of quality food. Breakfast was decent and acceptable range of choices. There is evening entertainment at the lounge area where a harpist will play some soothing music.
