Our stay for 3 days were very pleasant and relaxing. The facility, amenities, and staff hospitality were excellent.

“Wonderful Private Onsen”

This room was extremely clean and spacious. The private onsen was great and they provided amenities that I haven't had in other onsens like face masks and a towel dryer. The staff were all very friendly and the hotel provided a shuttle bus from Sapporo Station which made getting here and back easy. We personally didn't feel the need to go out and explore as Jozankei wasn't a super interesting area to us so we have nothing else to say about the location. I didn't personally use the public onsen, but my family said it was extremely large and clean as well. When visiting it, there weren't many people using it, so it apparently felt like a large private onsen.

It was a quiet environment (maybe is off-peak season) and about 80% is local guest during my stay. And the staff are friendly and some of them spoke English well, so didn’t have any difficult on communication.

Higher end onsen hotel yet with a comfortable atmosphere. Very clean. Loved the outdoor onsen which was spectacular during the winter with snowfall. Views from the room were also stunning and private in-room hot bath a wonderful addition. Overall a very relaxing stay!

Location - convenient to head to main town yet away from the hustle and bustle. Convenient to take kappa liner bus too. Rooms were spacious and staff were super friendly! Massage was good too. Breakfast and dinner options were not bad and they make an effort to alternate the menu if you stay for more than 1 night.

“Great value Japanese hotel experience”

Stunning property. Staff were very friendly, informative and efficient. This place is terrific value for money. The room size was huge with a sitting area as well as two extra large single beds. Bathroom and bath overlooking the river were fantastic. The provided Samue fit us well as larger westerners and was fun to wear around the hotel to dinner and breakfast. Dinner was plentiful and delicious. All courses were meticulously prepared and plated with the highlight being the prime rib.
