There were no bottles of water in the room, the shower gel and shampoo were so small and not enough for women with long hair the door lock was not working properly. I couldn't lock the door from inside

“Adequate - but Dutch hotels are very expensive for what you get.”
The location is good for visiting Heerenveen and Leeuwarden. The bathroom is good with a nice shower. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was perfectly adequate. Breakfast was also adequate but a long way to walk between the food and seating area - which was partially closed off.

There is a canal out side the room, which is very very beautiful. The hotel is close to the main road, so sometimes it is a little bit noisy in the evening.

“OK but nothing special.”
This place seems to have recently changed ownership but not much has changed. We had a superior room with what should be a balcony - however this first floor room had a door with bars blocking any exit to a non-existent balcony. The room was large but with little furniture.
