Overview
Set in a former mill, this B&B is located in the village of Jouques and features a well-established garden and a big living room with a TV and fireplace. A homemade breakfast is served daily. Provided with free Wi-Fi, the en-suite rooms at Le Vieux Moulin are individually decorated with original Provençal furniture. They all are air-conditioned and some of them have a garden view. Fresh croissants made by the local baker are proposed every morning together with homemade jams and fresh fruit. Some bars, restaurants and shops can be found 500 metres from the property. Several hiking paths leave from the village. Only 5 km from this B&B there is an artificial lake with a beach and many leisure activities are proposed on site. Provided with free private parking, Le Vieux Moulin is 25 km from Aix-en-Provence and 1 hour from the Verdon Gorges.

“Fabulous!”

The place is exceptional, especially if you like to stay in small villages, far away from the crowded places. The breakfast in the garden was fabulous with freshly baked croissants in the morning. The hosts were very nice.

Easily accessible with entrances on different levels convenient for loading the luggage. The hosts were extremely friendly and attentive. Liaised to ensure the arrival time. Ervin and Valeri are great hosts, they made sure we have everything we need, helped us plan our days and gave us a lot of recomendations and information about the area, and always wear a big smile! They are so nice and welcoming! I really recomend staying here. The property is just amazing, looks like it was taken from a fairytail, old and new combined, our room was so pretty and had a view to the river and to the garden. We had agreat breakfast every morning at the garden, right next to the river.

We enjoyed the typical French breakfast in the morning. Other than that , the hosts Valérie and Hervé were really helpful and gave us some amazing tipps regarding the area.Thanks to them we had some delicious quiche from the local bakery. They are knowledgeable about the south of France and especially the Provence area. So if you have a car and spare time , you are in for a treat. We will definitely go back to Le View Moulin and can only recommend this place!
