“Lovely staff, but hotel tired and in some places dirty”

“The 2 women at the reception were extremely nice and helpful, especially the younger tall one!”
After our 2 bedded room was changed from a DARK BASEMENT CORRIDOR ROOM LOOKING OUT ON THE UNDERSIDE OF PARKED CARS, to a normal daylight-lit room on the 2nd floor, we were happy & comfortable. The basement rooms are TERRIBLE !!

Restaurant was lovely, menu small but excellent food, nice wine. Staff brilliant. Room was good bed very comfortable. We will use this hotel again when travelling.

The room was lovely, the bed was lovely and we had a separate toilet which was great. The mirror was fab as it had a light on it and I could put my make up on properly as some hotel mirrors are useless. The shower was great also. Good to have a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities. Lots of area to put all our luggage etc... They really know what a traveller needs.

“Heated indoor pool made the stay enjoyable with children. Pool floats easy to access.”
We were able to pay for a late check out and use the pool. Nice heated indoor pool (1.3m at shallow end and 1.5m at deep end). It’s also next to a nice park. Worked well for a less stressful way to entertain 3 children for the day en route to Caen for a late ferry journey. Very friendly member of staff at check in (even though it was midnight)! Sorted out our late check out.
