This hotel is everything you hope to find up a mountain! We had a wonderful time, in a place that we feel deserves more stars than are given on google and booking. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, well equipped, clean and had a balcony with lovely view on the mountains and river. The hotel has a small dinercard, everything we tasted was well prepared and tasteful. There is an amazing choice during breakfast and for a small extra amount you can prepare your own packed lunch.

convenient location very close to Nigardsbreen/Styggevatnet glacier entry point, nice dinner and breakfast with wide range of choice (also gluten-free), staff kindness. We got 2 rooms, of which the one at the top floor was a big suite, without any upcharge

“Accommodation near the Jostedal iceberg”

We had very late check in, no issues. Very friendly lady she helped me to adjust plans for entire family at the iceberg. Lovely breakfast with salmon. We had the entire top floor with lovely view to the valley.

Compact twin room and good sized ensuite, both very clean... Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent breakfast enhanced even more with the option to make up sandwiches to take away with you. Excellent service

We stayed here the night before we hiked Nigardsbreen 5 mins away. The staff were so warm and friendly and it was a very quiet, comfortable stay with great mountain views. The homemade food was delicious and had a great breakfast buffet. We would stay again :)

Very nice lady at the reception. A beautiful family hotel in the middle of the village at the beginning of the national park. Very varied breakfast. It was a pleasure to spend a night here during our holiday.

The hotel is located in a convenient place for several hikes, including glacier hikes. The surrounding nature is amazing. The room is clean and comfortable. There is an EV charger in the parking lot for a reasonable price.  The restaurant serves delicious local food.
