Set in green surroundings, right by Lake Talvatis, this Lapland hotel is just 8 minutes’ walk from Jokkmokk Station. It offers regional cuisine and free Wi-Fi, gym and sauna access. Guest rooms at Hotel Jokkmokk have cable TV and a private bathroom with shower. The in-house restaurant and bar serves Lapland specialities such as smoked reindeer and elk fillet. “Blissful location. Management needs to 'get a grip' and make folk feel welcomed and valued.”
This was a return visit as we love the location with the forests, flowers, birds, squirrels and lake. Superb walks near by. Ajtte is close and WELL worth visiting.

“I've been there before in the summer so to visit in winter is just as nice.”
The breakfast was excellent. The view over the lake is superb and it was fine to walk on the lake as it was well frozen in February. Having gone by bus, it is an easy 10 /15 minutes walk to the bus station, taking care on the icy roads.

Hotel is situated by a lake (frozen in the wintertime). Our room had windows in two directions and hotel "provided" even northern light. Easy to park a car (we were here in low season). Staff was quick with check in/out.

Lake behind the hotel where you can go swimming. The sauna is nice and the staff allowed us to use it even on our departure day. Plenty of lounges for reading/working/relaxing in the hotel.
