The room lacks basic facilities like very poor air conditioning, no intercom, bathroom fittings defective, no exhaust in the bathroom. The room was too hot and the air conditioner too small. Never met Sam, the host. Vijay a staff member was quite helpful. Don't think I would visit this property again.

Lovely friendly staff who are very helpful. We were even invited to a local festival when we met them outside! They gave us some great recommendations on where to eat too. The hotel and adjoining cafe are both nice and clean. Our room was very spacious with lovely high ceilings plus AC and ceiling fan to keep the room cool. Such a shame their rooftop restaurant is currently being renovated. We did peek up their and the view is amazing 😁

The location of the home stay is perfect if you want to be in the centre of the old part. Staff were very friendly. Lovely quirky room. Cafe next door was good, but doesn't open till 8, a bit of a bummer if you want an early breakfast.

Great location with super friendly staff

As a solo traveler the staff made me feel so welcome and safe. Abhishek was especially accommodating and helped answer all my questions. The location was fabulous, so central and surrounded by good restaurants. The view of the fort from my room was spectacular. A short walk to the sights such as the fort, blue city and clock tower markets.

Wonderful location right by the Stepwell and near some lovely shops. Added bonus it is very easy to reach the Fort from this location.The staff were delightful , would stay here for the staff alone ! The room was spacious , stylishly furnished and felt like a comfortable space to retreat to after a day exploring. Has an adjoining cafe that is a comfy spot to relax in and that also does food. Area is cleaner than other parts of the city.

Sam is the absolute finest host! He was responsive from the time we booked the accommodation, helpful with requests that could make us more comfortable and also so considerate and took care of us in the finest way. The property gives you a 300 year old experience of residence and the location is great for easy access to shopping and sites. Sam’s Cafe adjacent the Homestay has the best food! We loved it.

The bathrooms were very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They arranged auto's for us when we needed them. The cold coffee at the cafe located beside the stay was delicious as well. The view of the fort and the step well were amazing. I would highly recommend this home stay.
