Formerly the house of a Brahmin family, the 350-year old Juna Mahal Boutique Home Stay features air-conditioned rooms with modern Indian décor. This property boasts a café and free Wi-Fi. Offering plenty of natural light, rooms come with wall paintings and wooden furnishings. Each is equipped with a TV, minibar and private balcony. Shower facilities are in the en suite bathroom. “Full of character, cheap and cheerful - perfect for a short stay”
Room was perfectly comfortable (bit of a climb to 3rd floor but staff willing to help with luggage). Had a balcony with a view of the fort and was great for watching interesting street life. Breakfast on the roof terrace was a nice start to the day. Tuk tuks right outside to help you explore the city (always a hairraising ride through chaotic streets but great fun and all part of the experience). You get what you pay for but more than adequate for a short visit. The staff in particular need a mention - always available and very helpful and accomodating.

“Beautiful old house in the busy old town”
Juna Mahal is set back slightly from a bustling street in the old town. It's a labyrinthine, very old house with beautiful details. The rooms are spacious enough and lovingly decorated. Not all rooms have windows to the outside – this is due to the building's narrow, winding layout. The stairs are steep, but the staff carry luggage up and down.

“Excellent home stay top to bottom.”
Literally everything. We arrived very late and staff were so accommodating. Room superb, whole hotel superb, roof terrace with views, restaurant with beers all superb.

“Excellent guest house”
The property has plenty of character, and is located in the narrow streets of the old city. I had a top-floor room and the views were panoramic. The staff were all very attentive and friendly.

“Good place to stay in Jodhpur”
Good place to stay in Jodhpur in this very old house. Facilities are good although some aspects beginning to tire. Great views across old Jodhpur to the Fort. The room was great - comfortable and clean. The biggest plus point was how keen everyone was to help making suggestions for what we could do or anything we may need. All without being pushy. If we stay in Jodhpur again we will stay here.

A wonderful hotel with incredibly hospitable hosts. The rooms are beautiful, blending heritage charm with impeccable cleanliness. The highlight is the rooftop with stunning views and a fantastic restaurant serving delicious food. An unforgettable stay in Jodhpur! Highly recommend.

“Juna Mahal, a charming and historic residence in Jodhpur”
We spent 11 days at Juna Mahal, a charming and historic residence tucked away in the bustling heart of Jodhpur's bazaar. Our spacious, clean, and cozy room had a small balcony and access to a terrace with beautiful rooftop views, where we often spotted groups of monkeys. Despite being centrally located, the hotel is peaceful, hidden away in a small alley. Breakfast was good, and the kind chef prepared delicious Indian vegetarian dishes, even late in the evening. Room service worked perfectly, and the young staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The owners and team spoke good English and offered great assistance.

“Quiet place in a vibrant city”
Beautiful building and a cute room. Staff was helpful and kind. We needed to leave before breakfast to catch a train, but the staff made us a breakfast sandwich for take away. The room was located facing the indoor patio, which made it super peaceful for sleeping. AC and shower worked very well. The hotel has a nice rooftop were you can enjoy great food and drinks.
