Exceptionally clean and neat place. Farm animals around. One neighbour woman was very kind and let us in her property to pet the pony.

“Quite a way from places but the drive to and from Jisp was delightful along narrow roads between houses and canals, beau”
Quite a way from Amsterdam but that is why we chose it. Out in the countryside looking out over paddocks and canals with birds and animals all around. Very quite and so peaceful. And of course a lovely host

“Relax while participating in a photography opportunity of birds, sheep, hare and frogs !”
This was our final B&B that we stopped at during cycling around the Netherlands. It is the perfect place to stay if you need to cycle to Ijmuiden. We met Bianca when we arrived. She was so friendly putting us at ease immediately. She showed us everything in the 'tiny house' and a huge folder that holds plenty of local information. She also explained a lovely walk that we did the first evening. Our bicycles were locked away in a barn, nice and safe. My wife really likes 'tiny houses' and I chose this one specifically and she wasn't disappointed. The main room consisted of a kitchen, dining and sitting area. The bedroom was comfortable. Everything was tastefully decorated. Outside there were many places to sit. Out of all the B&Bs that we stayed at over a 25 day period it had the best amount of bird life. We saw so many different types and on both evenings we sat for hours watching them, plus of course the sheep. There were lambs and a hare that kept hopping around. There are plenty of touristy things to see especially Zaandam which is great but overall we preferred cycling around the local area and sitting in the garden relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of all the tourist buses. Bianca and John have used 'homemade' items dotted around the house which makes it homely. We were presented with some beautiful flowers to put on the dining room table. It was extremely peaceful and we hope to return again in the future.

Small but very cozy. We had very nice time here. Very friendly family and we got very useful information for our trip to Amsterdam.Perfect location with car to travel around Amsterdam and also very convenient to go inside in city with public transport. Thanks a lot.👍👍👍

“A fully furnished cottage in a lovely green and quiet environment.”
