Overview
The Penzion Pod Zámkem is located in a historic building, a former tannery. Its history is first mentioned in the town books as early as 12.7.1687. The stone entrance, vaulted ceilings and original wooden beams have been preserved. The Historic Penzion Pod Zámkem is situated directly on the banks of the Nežarka River in Jindřichův Hradec, overlooking the castle and is situated 130 metres from the main square. It offers free Wi-Fi, a garden, free parking, bike storage and breakfast included in the room rate. All rooms have satellite TV, a minibar , a desk and a coffee and tea set. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and a bathrobe. The guest house has a restaurant Apetit, which serves international cuisine and Czech specialities. Vegetarian and gluten-free menus are also available on request. Guests can choose breakfast from a breakfast menu. Jindřichův Hradec Bus and Train Station and the aquapark are 1.5 km away. The bus and train station of Jindrichuv Hradec as well as the Aqua Park are 1.5 km away. Penzion Pod Zámkem is located 20 km from the golf course in Nová Bystřice, which is close to the Austrian border.

The Penzion located almost in the center of the city. It is a beautiful Bohemian city with medieval elements, you can see the Gothic castle fom the Penzions back garden and form some rooms. The breakfast was delicious and just what we needed to start our day and explore the city. The architecture of the Penzions restaurant and cafe makes you feel like you travelled back in time. We was there in Advents time so the whole place was beautifully decorated with a discreet christmas theme. The accommodations was perfect for us. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is in the perfect location, with a restaurant terrace overlooking the river and the castle. There is also a possibility of free parking on-site. The staff is very friendly

“Lovely place to stay and nice and central location close to the river with a view of the Castle.”
Breakfast was excellent - facilities were generally clean and tidy and quite adequate. The location was very central and easy to get to - and nice and quiet at night :)

“Worst customer service experience thanks to manager lady”
The younger staff were really nice and helpful and had good English. Had a nice view from garden and shared balcony. The town is beautiful.
