Overview
Altitude 1260 is a family-run lodge located on over 255 acres of natural bushland. The property boasts breath-taking panoramic views from Lake Jindabyne through to the mountain peaks of Kosciuszko. Altitude 1260 is situated 8 minutes' drive from Jindabyne, 18 minutes' drive from Thredbo and 7 minutes' drive from the Perisher Ski-tube. The lodge offers 12 en suite rooms and continental breakfast is served daily to all guests. Every guest room features uninterrupted views of the scenic surroundings. Each room is equipped with heating, a work desk, tea and coffee making facilities, private bathroom and a hairdryer. The communal areas include a large lounge area with an open fireplace, fully licensed bar and a games area with board games, billiards table and a TV. The lodge also offers an outdoor deck area and large grass areas.

To Nat and Graeme , thank you so much for hosting and making everything feel like a home away from home! From dinner for every night we stayed in, to beautiful views every morning, and all the belly rubs to Maya and Zeus. It is such a rare find to give such hospitality like you have these days, so I am definitely grateful to have found this location and stayed here - I don't think I could have found anything better in the area. Appreciate everything you have offered in the short time we were there. We hope to come back when we can.

Graeme and Natalie were so welcoming and made us feel at home. The common area by the fire was so serene with the beautiful outlook was perfect. Our room was really spacious and well kept and the breakfast was really yummy.

The views is spectacular! It's amazing to enjoy views from the same location, but differs from time and weather. This is the time you feel human being so small compared to the nature power. The inner settings also fantastic. Full activities for all age groups and never have a bored minute. No matter you come with family or just love couples. Spacious common lounge with different function areas in great artistic taste. Even no snowsports plan on the day, still.can relax and enjoy in and.around the property.

For anyone planing on staying here: book yourself in for dinner also! Food and wine are exceptional and well beyond what you would expect from a boutique hotel at the end of a (well maintained) dirt road.

This is one of those amazing places you don't want to tell everyone about... absolutely loved our stay and the owners and staff were so welcoming and just lovely people! Evening meals were an unexpected and delicious bonus and meant we didn't have to trek down the mountain to Jindabyne. Excellent breakfast and a warm and comfy room.

It exceeded my expectations in every way. Breakfast was simple but delicious.... and a great start to the day. Eggs were done perfectly and the view from the breakfast room is simply unbeatable. The evening meal was awesome, and the hosts amazing. The small bar at the end of the evening was a great place to hang out. Managed to see wombats, deer, wallabies and emu all the same day.
