This hotel is exceptional, it has the feeling of previous grandeur, it’s a lovely place to stay, the two members of staff we met were great, both English speaking ,friendly and helpful. We were able to park our motorcycle in the garage too. There’s an Italian restaurant around the corner and a bar adjacent to the hotel, unfortunately we arrived a little late in the evening and didn’t have enough time to explore the town.

We particularly appreciated the warm and professional welcome from the person at the reception, smiling and well-being, as well as the quality of the breakfast, which was both tasty and hearty. We would also like to stress the friendliness and availability of the service staff during breakfast. I really appreciate this vintage look, you have to keep it, it gives an appreciable charm. Highly recommend this establishment.

“Great looking hotel, well located, but largely functional”

Hotel location is very good, just around the corner from the main town square. Helpful reception staff, all of whom spoke decent English (few people speak much English in the town). Room was adequate for a one night stay. Clean and tidy. Likewise bathroom. Very nice breakfast room, with a good choice of food - mainly the usual cereal, bread, cheese, ham, fruit etc. Not much hot food. Jihlava is not really a tourist town, being somewhat off the 'beaten track'. There are few hotels in town, and this one was obviously originally one of the largest, but now caters for business people, tradesmen and a few intrepid tourists - mainly Mahler aficionados I suspect. The hotel has a beautiful, if slightly tired facade. Railway station (Jihlava mesto) is about 10 minutes walk away, but beware, it's all uphill to the town from the station (downhill obviously going back!). There are cheap taxis around in the town though.

It makes you feel that you are having an historical experience because there is some soviet vibes. You feel you are in authentic local experience.

Good breakfast, funny and talkful staff beautiful city centre I like to visit this town more times. Silence in night what I like so much. Fantastic pub close to hotel and you are really happy when you back to hotel.

Helpful staff, allowed to park up early in the small garage that is part of the hotel for a cost. Room cosy with good WiFi.. Good breakfast with very helpful waitress ... Good location only a min or so walk from the centre...

“Our first visit to Jihlava”

A Great hotel with excellent staff. A city well worth a look. It has some really interesting buildings and history. Our room was well finished and had everything we needed. Parking is around the back in a private garage. A must Visit town if your in the Czech Republic.

It's at the center of the city, in a nice street. Temperature was fine and the bed, even if not too new, was acceptable. Staff very friendly. Shower also good. For me it was enough this place because i came to visit some friends living very close.
