Overview
TK Village Inn (TK-Hostel/TK Space) is located in Tangkou Town, Kaiping City, the hometown of overseas Chinese. There are relatively close cycling distances to the World Cultural Heritage Zili Village Diaolou Group, Liyuan, Rongguifang and other famous travel spots. The hostel is surrounded by countryside and beautiful nature. Guests can book breakfast, guided cycling tours and bicycle rental. It is an international youth space based on rural practices, which has been transformed from two abandoned factory buildings in the 80s and 90s into today's youth hostels and community centers. A group of young people who love the slow life of the countryside and residents surrounding communities work and live here. The hostel is equipped with Chinese and Western restaurants, a casual bar, and a 30-acre four-season farm. During various festivals and holidays, we hold various cultural activities for residents to participate in from time to time, such as farmland picking, village exploration, and learning to weave with local community elder ladies... There are many spacious and comfortable public spaces in the hostel, with spacious courtyards and open-air terraces, and leisure and entertainment facilities such as book reading, table football, TV, calligraphy experience, and café for guests to enjoy; It can also provide venues and equipment for group activities such as meetings, lectures, dinners, parties, barbecues, movie watching, KTV, cooking, camping, etc. The hostel hopes to create a vibrant rural community that fosters multicultural exchange and community revitalization. Welcome friends from all over the world who are interested in overseas Chinese culture to meet and exchange here. The nearest airport is Zhuhai Jinwan Airport, 90 km from the property.

“More than perfect stay in Tangkou”
Booking rating scale falls short to rate this place. The stay was great, the rooms were comfortable and the staff very welcoming. The hostel is set in a beatiful lively town, it is part of a beautiful project to revitalize the town and it is doing so with great success. Next to it there is a super beautiful library which really stands out. What we loved the most was definitely the staff, they were super nice and patient explaining everything in English. They showed us a Diaolou they are taking care of, and explained us how people used to live there. It really helped us understand the history of Diaolous and allowed us to better understand the visit to Zili Village. They also showed us their farm and we picked some sweet potatoes which they cooked us for dinner. The next day they gave us some bikes and recommendations of things to check out which were great. Although we had little connection with the history of overseas Chinese, we really loved learning about the past and present of the region. I very strongly recommend anyone to go out of their way to spend a few days here.

I stayed 2 nights. Staff is very kind and generous. I was late for check-in time but he waited until I arrived in the inn. And, the breakfast is 10 CNY and that is proper to appease my hunger.

“love it”
we love the fact that this place is situated very near to the UNESCO Heritage site, and at the same time it's very quiet and secluded at night. The rooms were very clean, and the water pressure in the bathroom was excellent. At this place, you can also order your dinner, and the chef was pretty good at cooking.

“Unique experience”
Great host who takes time with his guests, not just accommodating needs and wishes but also giving lots of information about the area, community and the project. Very unusual architecture, peaceful village area. Fresh homegrown food and yummy Vietnamese coffee :-)
