Place was very nice around. Quiet and peaceful place with farm animals. Miha and Thomas are fine people with smiles.

We really enjoyed staying on the farm. The host was kind and helpful, and the homemade bread and fresh milk were a lovely part of the experience. The surroundings are beautiful - mountains, meadows, sheep, horses and cows all around. The daffodils were blooming while we were there, and we also had a nice trip to Lake Bled. It was a calm and enjoyable stay. Thank you for having us 😌🌼

“Lovely, clean and comfortable farmhouse”

Comfortable beds, bed sheets were so fresh and clean. The AC was good quality. Functional kitchen with new pots and pans. Miha and Tomasz were very friendly. The location is perfect if you want to get to parking for start point of Mount Golica hike, only 3 mins away.

Friendly staff, nice animals, really one of a kind experience.

Very calm and beautiful place. We had a great time there. You dont need car if you simply would like to enjoy the nature and hike.

Great place to stay! Location is perfect in nature and close to so many beautiful places. You can even walk to the Golica peak. The apartment is clean, comfortable and modern. Plus the best view from the balcony. The owner is nice and all the animals so sweet! Our dogs felt really comfortable around the farm

Authentic farm Experience!

“A unique farmstay experience , super comfortable & minutes from hiking trails”

A very modern, comfortable renovation in an older style farmhouse. Everything worked, loads of hot water, comfy bed, very clean, workable kitchen to prepare your own meals which you will need to do, as The farmhouse is situated in a fairly remote village. It is only mins from the start of The Golica summit hike & its various other hiking options. We loved the views & the farm animals. It was quite unique for us. Miha, the owner was very friendly & helpful,

“Don’t t book this property!”

Nothing, we could not reach it due to inaccessibility. Road was not paved and it was totally damaged. We risked damaging our car so we returned to Jesenice and booked another accommodation. We contacted the property but they didn’t refund anything to as, although there is no mention of this kind of assess to the property on booking.

“The best place to end a trip”

The location of the farm is absolutely fabulous. Although you may be surprised by the steep hill going to it (so ideally plan your arrival before it gets dark). If you're from a bigger city you'll be amazed by the absolute silence at night (except maybe for the bell on the village church) and by the quantity of visible stars. Although the village itself only has one bar (which I also recommend to visit, the owner is very friendly) and no shop, you can easily reach anything by car during daytime. Also many locations for hikes are within an hour ride. Miha (the owner) is very friendly and helpful, he takes good care of his animals and you can really feel a good spirit at the farm. You can get home made bread, very tasty free range eggs and fresh milk, so if you don't have dietary restrictions, by all means go for it. And also if you're into horse riding or want to try a carriage ride this can also be satisfied by their very nice and friendly horses 🐎 Overall, you probably won't want to leave but I still definitely recommend a visit 😁

A very helpful host, who even mailed us the forgot items. A very comfy kitchen with everything necessary and even more. Everything's sparkly clean and new. Very private - you don't even realize smb's living there too. The horses and other animals - a great bonus, taken care of. All that farm is totally about the horses, they are everywhere - on pictures, paintings and alive of course. Enough place for a family with 2 kids. Great view from the balcony. Nice location, if you came with car. We came to visit lake Bled - this place is only 20 min away on a beautiful road and not so overpriced, and got a very peaceful vibe, that is really something after all those crowds around the lake. The food in town is cheaper. You can even rent a SUP times cheaper than at lake Bled

“A real gem close to the Austrian border”

The owner was really friendly and helpful. The apartments are located on a horse farm which you have to like but for us it was really great! You can even go horse back riding if you like. The apartment was really big for the two of us so we had tons of space. The view from the apartment was amazing sort of into the valley and towards the mountains. It was awesome! Definitely recommend this one if you are staying in this area.

The location in unspoiled nature, farm with friendly and helpful people. Beautiful animals. They can give you homebaked bread and fresh eggs. If you want you can ride a horse here as well.

“Mighty views with a homely host”

The views are breath taking. The accommodation is clean and provides are a real one off experience of staying in the mountains next to a stable of beautiful horses. Everybody locally and our host where incredibly welcoming and kind. A one off adventure, off the beaten track, and shows a real local experience. Don't miss the wood cutter lower down in the valley.

“Great! Wish i booked for more nights!”

What an amazing, genuine experience! House Uric offers hospitality, authenticity and a lovely insight in the farm life. Horse riding, hiking, skiing, amazing food, produced right there on the farm, riding with a horse carriage, were offered to me, but there seem to be a bunch more... besides the amazing views of the mountains, awesome fresh air, the facilities are cosy and offer great relaxation. The host is amazing as well, a great guy, devoted to breeding a wide variety of authentic Slovenian breeds of farm animals! I hope to return as soon as possible for a longer period.

“Slovenia in all it’s glory.”

It was like a winter wonderland with views of snow capped Triglav. This is a beautiful farm, warm and cosy, just like the owner Miha - a true gentleman. The rustic home made bread, the gorgeous horses who are groomed to perfection. Everything about my stay was lovely, far away from the tourist traps. This was the real Slovenia with all the warmth and welcome that Slovenian people have to offer. Great memories were made here. I was lucky to be staying for the blessing of the horses in the true Slovene tradition. A spectacle for the eyes. I will be back in May to climb Golica and see the Narcissi’s in bloom.
