The mattress was outstanding. There were many little touches which I felt showed very high thoughtfulness and care for guests - such as the spotless cleanliness of everything. I and my wife both enjoyed very much the artwork in the foyer - as a 4-year victim of an art school education I would rank it pretty highly (if you love Israel, which we do). There was a very welcome supply of decent free coffee, tea, and sugar in the foyer. We felt very grateful to the owners/management for a genuinely decent place to stay which we felt had been designed with the guests' experience first. It is truly central so if you need cheap non-bakery groceries the only, only places which are walkable are Zol V'B'Gadol on HaRav Agan St 8 and Khavakuk St 6. If you like bread and pastries, then on Antar Ben-Shaddad 10 minutes' walk away from the Rooms, are Al-Amin Sweets and Bakery - who I believe do ten pitot for 5 shekels (including wholemeal) and there's a bakery a couple of doors down which definitely does it at that price. Al-Amin have date pastries which are ridiculously good - try the aniseed (herb-encrusted); and there's a falafel place on the same street which is pretty good, and stores which on market day set out cheap bits and bobs.

Internet connection was smooth, location is 5 min from the New Gate (perfect!), check-in' instructions were as clear as possible, and the room had everything I could wish for. Definitely deserves the money.

Quiet neighbourhood, pretty clean, excellent location for exploring the Old City, close to the light rail. Beds were comfortable, great value, a great fit for touring all day and just needing somewhere to sleep.

Ideal location for exploring all of Jerusalem: West and East, Old and New. We come to Jerusalem annually, and know the city well. FABULOUS LOCATION! Also great shared kitchen and living room with balcony.

The location is excellent, very easy to get around . The Old City is literally around the corner. 25 min by bus to The Knesset, New Jerusalem Library and Israeli museum. 7 min to Mahaney Yehuda market by light train. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Let me leave my bag in after checking out, so I was able to spend a day in Jerusalem. The room was clean, very nice bedding set. Coffee, tea, hot and cold water and a refrigerator, microwave are available. Beautiful and quiet street.The Jerusalem City hall park is 7 min walk and all buses and light train beside it.

The room was lovely and clean and it was in a really good area very close to the centre and places like the wall, the garden tomb and most of the other places that are worth seeing. Although there was no cooker but there was a microwave, fridge and kettle which was very handy. I would recommend this place and will stay here again when I come back. The owner is very accommodating and when I asked to change my room to get a bigger one, he was very good and offered me a bigger room. But then I decided to stay where I was in the room I had initially booked and he didn't get annoyed with me for changing my mind. Internet was good too. Excellent place!

“Everything was great”

The location is fabulous, very close to the Old City (New Gate). The room was clean and comfortable with an en suite bathroom and a television. There is a living room, two balconies and a kitchen area with a nespresso machine and a fridge. The owner sent excellent self check in instructions. I really enjoyed my stay here. It was extremely peaceful.
