“Charming Historic Hotel with a Few Quirks”

Our stay at this hotel was delightful! Nestled in the heart of the city, the historic building exudes charm and character. The large, lush garden with its stunning view creates a serene, tranquil escape, perfect for unwinding. The breakfast was a highlight—abundant fresh fruits and delicious dishes, with the chef preparing shakshuka and omelets right before us, adding a personal touch. The staff was incredibly friendly, responsive, and efficiently resolved an issue with our room, making us feel truly valued. Overall, this is a wonderful hotel, and we highly recommend it for its unique charm and excellent service!

“Very special place but should give better VFM”

Hotel is located in EnCarem, A beautiful and peaceful place. Location is super. The hotel rooms are spread in a few locations and utilities the old buildings. We paid extra for a room with a hot tub. Unfortunately the tub is located outside and is not private. The room was not clean enough, had mold in the corners and apider nets on ceiling. Breakfast is nice but could be much better and far away feom other Israeli boutique hotels.

Alegra hotel.keeps its promises again. The room was spacious, intimate and comfortable. Staff is super friendly and breakfast great.

The room was wide, lot of spacious with a large bathroom. Breakfast was prepared in front of our eyes in an open space and was delicious. It was a decent meal. The staff went out their way to make sure we were having a good time. The location is at the heart of a beautiful surrounding but if you need the city center you're gonna need a car

Its location near to the hospital. Also the lovely rooms and furniture. Someone has really thought about this property and it’s a pleasure to stay there

Breakfast was great, fresh food, varied. Also great coffee machine. Location superb. Staff very friendly and attentive to everything we asked for. Great location, we did a wonderful hiking route in the morning.

“Home away from home”

This hotel has been our home away from home in Jerusalem for years now, and it never disappoints! It's located in a quiet area, with a public (and free) parking lot just a couple of minutes on foot from the hotel; I'd suggest to have a car, because while there are a few restaurants nearby, if you want to go to Jerusalem city centre it's the best way. A big bonus of this hotel is the garden, an oasis of calm, beautiful in every season. The services and amenities are excellent and the staff goes out of their way to make guests feel home (thank you so much, we really feel part of the Alegra family!). Our favourite room is in the main building, with direct access to the garden (and when possible, the hotel accomodates our special request, like they did this time), but I can assure you that also the rooms in the building right opposite the street have the same beauty, unique style and another little garden (but guests are always welcome to come to the main building to enjoy the garden and the dining room/coffee corner). I highly recommend, at least one morning during your stay, to indulge in the rich, fresh and absolutely delicious breakfast (Israeli, with salad, bread, cheese, eggs, shakshuka... but you'll also find something if you prefer a sweet treat to start your day) - and the dining room is stunning and full of light, too!

Highly, highly recommend... Ahemad who checked us in, was absolutely a delight, took care of every request without hesitation, went out of his way to ensure we had an absolutely wonderful time.......A beautiful boutique hotel...very charming...excellent location. Parking was easily available. Beautiful rooms with outstanding art...spacious and clean. The terrace is absolutely beautiful as are all the outdoor areas. Food is outstanding and beautifully presented. Huge thanks to all the staff...will definitely come again...

absolutely fantastic and exceptional place. One of the best boutique hotels I have ever visited. The staff of the hotel is kind helpful and I would like to mention especially the reception manager Doodi that was kind and went beyond the call of duty to help us. The rooms are large clean and very very comfortable. Breakfast is freshly laid daily and is exceptional. The area around his quaint and if you need to have breakfast or dinner you can find many nice small restaurants and brasseries.

Breakfast was lovely very and typically Israeli, with a wide range of local produce, freshly prepared dishes and newly baked bread on offer. Limitless delicious coffee and eggs freshly prepared to preference. All of this delivered with a welcoming smile.
