A great hotel with a lot of tradition! We only had two nights in Jermuk, but thoroughly enjoyed our time! We were seen by the Sanatorium’s medical team immediately and started our treatments with the friendly staff that afternoon! The room was spacious, clean and had everything we would expect (including a fridge). Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets offered a great variety and staff in the restaurant were very attentive. The hotel is in a great location near the Gallery of Water, other places of interest and generally a good base for walks around the town or the Mermaids waterfall. An added benefit is the use of the Jermuk Grand Hotel’s modern spa facilities. 10/10

“Awesome place to stay, especially if it's all inclusive”

It was good overall. Clean rooms, Tasty Food. The staff was celebrating "Trndez" (Armenian Holiday) and they met us and other people who stayed there with wine and sweets (traditional food). I understand that our arrival and the holiday celebration was a coincidence, but it still warmed our heart :)

The staff was very welcoming, especially the medical team. The location is convenient, close to the galary of mineral waters. Overall, it’s a great place for a quiet family retreat and for undergoing various therapies.

“An unexpected surprise up in the idyllic mountains of Jermuk”

This was a really unexpected experience. I thought I booked a spa retreat for several days to unwind but this was a health sanatorium built in the Soviet days for war veterans so the main focus of the sanatorium was to utilise the healing mineral waters of Jermuk to work on your health areas of concern. 45 treatments were available for free including all 3 meals (fresh produce from the region). Meals were healthy and wholesome - lots of fresh veg, salad, soups, cheese, breads, compote, and dessert. Once checked in, we met with the doctor who, after assessing our health needs, prescribed a host of treatments for the duration of our stay (mineral water hydrotherapy, baths, foot reflexology, physiotherapy, oxygenation, salt room therapy, aromatherapy, etc... the list goes on). There was a hotel nearby where we could use their swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna so we did that in the afternoons after our treatments in the mornings. One of the best parts of the day was walking to the mineral fountains and drinking our prescribed temperature mineral water before meals. The water fountains were in front of a lake with the mountains in the distance, a perfectly idyllic place for some real R&R. Highly recommend this for those seeking relaxation and an unforgettable health experience ;-)
