Forget comparisons with slick city hotels. Think of rustic country charm and a warm vibe that gives you a huge hug and whispers welcome home when you walk in the door. Accomodation was more than adequate- comfy bed & nice clean bathroom. The bar/restaurant had loads of character & we were made to feel very welcome by Fergus and the team. Obviously a regular for the locals, many of whom were enjoying challenging each other on the purple pool table, whilst enjoying a few bevvies and dinner. The food was delicious - we had an Irish half parmie and the Guinness & beef stew.

Perfect stop off on route Melbourne to Brisbane . Clean comfort room and great food and Fergus the owner was friendly and welcoming .

Amazing value for money. Simple room did the job perfectly, manager (Irish man) was very helpful. Food at the pub was good country food and perfect to reheat for my lunch the next day. Close to the cafe for breaky in the morning and was able to check out the river!
