“Definitely a place to avoid”
Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The accommodation had extremely low hygiene standards. The bed sheets looked like they had already been used, the covers were stained, and there was no clean sheet underneath. The bathroom was in very poor condition and clearly not properly cleaned. Communication was also difficult. The owners do not speak English, the location was hard to find, and getting basic information was not smooth. Towels were not provided upon arrival and were only given after we specifically asked. Overall, this place did not meet even basic expectations for cleanliness and comfort.

We stayed 3 days with the lovely family of Husseein. There is a nice terrace with beautiful view. Everyday there is a really delicious, homemade, jordanian breakfast. If you stay here, you have to order dinner. Husseein his wife is an amazing cook and the food was on of the best we had in 1 month Jordan. One day we went together with Husseein to his farm on the top of a hill with amazing view. We drank tea, overlooking the valley during sunset. He is a very friendly, humorous and warm man. The rooms are big with private bathroom. If you are looking for a place in Jerash wtih a local family, this is the place you are looking for. I cant describe in words how he made as feel like home.

“Great place to stay when visiting Jerash ruins”
Had a good stay in Jerash and especially enjoyed meeting other guests. Air conditioning works well. Wi-fi worked well - just make sure you ask for this to be provided. Nice breakfast shared with other guests (hummus, falafel, salad, bread). Within walking distance of Jerash ruins and restaurants.

I'm a little bit disappointed.... the owner is kind but it seems they are refurbished the entire building. A lot of dust. I didn't get the breakfast and no refund....

“Recommended budget stay”
Breakfast OK, parking on the street, basic amenities quite OK (air conditioning, electric water boiler, blankets). There is a refrigerator but I have no use it. 10-15 min distance to donwtown and 15-20 to Jarash Visitor Center.

Huseein is a wonderful host. We got some tea and a delicious treat upon arrival and he was very warm in welcoming us. The view from the terrace is great! You don't see the ancient city but still beautiful. Room was very big and bed comfortable with warm blankets and a airco which also heated the room. Freshly made breakfast every morning on the terrace, delicious!
