8 is only because of the homemade food we got there, and because of old man who was so kind and prepared the best breakfast ever! Dinner was fantastic too. Beds were nice.

A wonderful hotel! We felt truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. It’s one of the best family-run hotels I've ever stayed in, warm, caring, and full of heart. Dinner was truly delicious, and breakfast was also very good. The rooms were clean and spacious, but what really makes this place special is the kindness and genuine hospitality of the owners. We highly recommend staying here, and if I return to Jordan, this is the hotel I will choose again. 💛✨

“Fantastic stay in a family home”

We loved our stay here, in particular the true Jordanian hospitality we received. This is a family run guest house and from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed and treated as one of their own. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. On our first night we arrived late afternoon after a long day driving the desert castle loop, we hadn't organised anything for dinner, but right away we were welcomed with tea and the offer of them going out to get us a meal which we gladly accepted. The following evening we had a delicious home cooked dinner, and each morning, a home cooked breakfast, everything was delicious and huge portions (we never did get used to Jordanian portions)! The family (including their gorgeous baby!) were wonderful. We had a slight issue when our shower stopped working (which turned out to be a broken pump), the owners were responsive, kind, and the issue was fixed quickly. On our last morning, we came out to find our rental car had been washed down! Free parking is available on site which is both covered and CCTV monitored. The hotel is located in a residential area, as the name suggests, with a wonderful view over the archaeological site which the town has built up around. It’s a quick and easy 3 minute drive around to the entrance, or a 25min walk. We chose to stay in the “Studio with Balcony”, which was spotlessly clean and looked just as the photos advertised. We used Jerash as a base to day trip up north to Umm Qais and Pella, while also exploring the more local sites of Ajloun and (the highly recommended) AlMa'wa for Nature and Wildlife reserve. As with everywhere else we visited in Jordan, we felt safe and very well looked after, but this home and family stood out to us as some of the kindest people we’ve met.

“Lovely stay with a view, just a few things missing”

The location was great with a beautiful view of the historical landmarks. The host was very kind and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. Also, excellent value for the price.

Really great location. Nice view and balcony.

First we got a different room than we ordered. After complaining we got an apartment with the saying that the room we had ordered was being repaired, so we would get a better one. The apartment was not completely ready, the rooms were quite clean but the kitchen was completely dirty and sticky. The whole accommodation smelled of chemicals. The accommodation does not match the photos. Breakfast was served in some tent instead of what is in the photos.

“Lovely food, FULL panorama.”

Home cooked food at every meal was a particular highlight, thank you to our lovely hosts for the meals we received. This family-run hotel was cosy and fully lived up to its name, providing a full panoramic view of the beautiful Jerash ruins from our room and from just outside the hotel. It also served as a fantastic base to explore Jerash, being located within a 2 minute drive / 15-minute walk from the site entrance. Highly recommend as a good budget option - extremely good value for what we paid.

“Great base to explore the ruins”

More than moderately priced family room incl. breakfast. Very friendly and efficient staff. Located just outside the ruins this place is perfect to use as a base for a night or two. Downtown area with restaurants and shops as well as the visitor center to the archeological site are just a few minutes away, yet the location is extremly quiet.

Perfect location to stay in Jerash. Easy parking available. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t eat there but I have heard very good things about the host’s cooking. Our room was in the first floor and you could kind of see the ruins from there. For this price you can’t really go wrong!

“Stay here if you are coming to Jerash!”

Amazing place to stay In Jerash! Perfect location for exploring the archeological site. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Room was spacious and bed was really big and comfortable. TV and AC in the room (plus a fan!). Plenty of extra blankets if you needed them. We had a balcony and had a fantastic view of Jerash. Shower lovely and hot. 10/10 - no notes!
