“Beautiful place but no staff to be seen.”

We liked the view from the hostel and the air con was good. The tours are right beside the hostel which is great.

“Great value for money!”

We went during a period where there was little people at Taman Negara. As we were the only guests during our stay, the owner upgraded our rooms to ones with private bath room! The place was really comfortable, with clean room and beds with fans and air conditioning. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for value for money!

“Good stay”

The location is amazing, the view is good, staff is very sweet. You get what you pay for and what is advertised. We came at low season so there weren’t many other guests but still had a good stay.

The location of the Hostel is great, only a couple of steps from the river. Considering the location, the room had everything and more than you can expect from a hostel in the middle of the jungle : clean bed, clean sheets, a shower (no "hot" water but luke warm at best --> not needed as the weather is so hot already) and air conditioning !! The host is very friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed having a little chat with him ! :) The BEST fried rice we had was in Arissa Floating restaurant and the other good floating restaurant as per our opinion is the one right in front of the path when you go down the steps from the hostel (family restaurant). We tried the local breakfast in the village, which was delicious. If we go back to Taman Negara, we will gladly stay there again !

Good position!

Air conditioning was brilliant, location to shops and restaurants was perfect, you wouldn’t need to walk more than 5 minutes and have a lot of choice. The view of the river and jungle from the lobby was great. The hostel is beside the boat transfer to Taman Negara park entrance so every activity usually starts nearby. The owner is also extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for other solo travelers.

“Budget accommodation in great location”

Location was great, overlooking the river and the national park. Room was quite clean and spacious. When I contacted the owner before I arrived they were quick to respond with answers to my questions.

View was really great! Perfect location very easy to get to the rainforest (Teman Negara). Our host was lovely! He helped us find out about things to do nearby including 4x4 and river safaris and always had a friendly chat with us. I would recommend this place! :)

“Nice stay”

The proximity to the river, the view from my window. The cleanliness. It's very basic (bed with blanket, AC, wc and cold shower) and reflects the low price. There also an outside area where you can chill.
