“A well preserved old hanok for a short stay”

The location is good and close to the main street. The owner was kind enough to help us book a taxi to pick us up at the door and take us to the train station.

Best stay in Korea! Warm welcome, gorgeous traditional house, squicky clean. The location is great in the village. The restaurant recommended by the host, the Hawaiian recipe, is great. I hope to be back.

The hanok was very clean and quiet with a great yard. The host was very kind and friendly and even gave us postcards as a gift. We booked a bigger room so that we would be comfortable we our large suitcases and it was better that way. Sleeping wasn't very comfortable cause you actually sleep on the floor but that's the point of staying at a hanok. Overall it was a good experience and we are happy we tried it.

The property is close to the night market and the hanok village. The host is very friendly and speaks English. The house the amazingly beautiful! For someone looking for a traditional accommodation this is the place to go! + the floor is heated ❤️

The hosts are so gentle and sweet. They offered me fresh water and a postcard from jeonju. The room is nice, the bathroom is new and super clean. The floor is heated! I would return here 100%. Jeonju is lovely

“Exceptional”

Staying in a traditional Korean house would definitely enhance your travelling experience. It was genuinely authentic and really felt surreal. The place hosts some events like Korean mask dance or calligraphy lessons occasionally but when I stayed, wasn’t going on unfortunately. The location was also pretty convenient, has some restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Offering towels and toiletries was a big bonus as well. Would highly recommend if you have a night in Jeonju.

The traditional and authentic experience in a beautiful hanok with ondol-heating (which I later read belonged to a famous poet from Jeonju) and the tranquil setting was a special cultural encounter. The room has an ensuite bathroom. The owner, Jae Min, was very friendly and most helpful with recommending a great bibimbap restaurant, and has a great sense of humour. He was also very kind in helping me book my taxi for an early departure.
