What a wonderful way to experience traditional Hanok living — sleeping on a heated floor with a comfortable mattress that makes it just as cozy as a regular bed. We definitely had a wonderful stay! The owner was incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They even offered us a better room than the one we booked, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hospitality really stood out — we’d definitely stay here again!

The location was great as it was right inside the Hanok Village. Staying in a traditional Hanok was a unique and special experience. It was quiet and peaceful, and a perfect place to stay with family.

It's exactly like in the photo, the owner is very nice and the room has everything you need. I was given a different room than I booked actually, it's the only reason I'm giving a 9, but it was alright and I didn't mind. The room I stayed in had a view to an inner garden and was very pleasant and private! The futon (yo) is as comfortable as possible, I don't mind sleeping on the floor and I actually had a great night of sleep, but it's something you should consider if it's for you. I wanted the real hanok experience! The bathroom was big and clean, and the shower had great temperature and water pressure which is very important to me so it was perfect. It's a korean shower so yes the entire bathroom will be wet, and the towels are small, korean standard. Breakfast was simple, but tasty. It's served in the room for you. At last, it cannot be better located, right in the heart of the hanok village. I would definitely come back! Had a short, but great stay.

“A fantastic experience”

A beautiful place to stay in the stunning city of Jeonju. We had a great experience at Sori poonggyung in our Hanok style accomodation with a delicious traditional Korean breakfast served to our room in the morning. View from the front door of the room is stunning over the garden and looking up at the green hills. The staff made us feel welcome and right at home.

Beautiful place. Feels like travelling in the past and living like local villagers. The location was great. In the heart of the Hanok village. Walking distance to everything. The host brought breakfast in the morning, which was a plus!

Really great place to experience the Hanok stay. We really enjoyed it. We got a free upgrade and slept really good. When you wake up when there is breakfast ready (in your room) it is fantastic.

This is a very nice Hanok-style place. It’s clean, in a good location, and has a traditional feel. The host is super friendly and helpful. In the morning, he brings fresh fruit, black sesame porridge, toast, and jam for breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again.

“Perfect place for a short trip to Jeonju Hanok Village”

Perfectly located in a charming, quite, small alley next to the main street. You can easily reach all attractions, cafés and restaurants on foot. The accommodation is in a very good condition and the traditional Korean floor heating „Ondol“ was just perfect during the cold wave. The owner was very considerate and preheated our room. The small breakfast is prepared with love and we enjoyed the black sesame soup. We liked our room which had a view on a small backyard.

Lovely traditional establishment. Obliging host would provide hot water for coffee as not included in breakfast. Interesting breakfast!
